Hey broughy, let me just make a quick suggestion or just a question in general.. I saw that your guidelines said that you should have the carbon roof and bumpers, but wouldnt it be a bit more colourful if people have a non-carbon roof and the elegy being allowed to have the GT or highest tier bumper(s)? To quote Pirates of the Caribbean; "...there more guidelines than actual rules...", meaning they aren't necessarily mandatory.

I think it makes sense to leave the lights on in the dark during the endurance, I've noticed there are some people who turn them off even when it's dark I turn my lights off for 2 reasons 1. Lighting updates in just about any game increases FPS lag. 2. The people behind me can see more clearly when Im braking and I tend to get hit from behind a LOT less with my lights off. On some tracks where you are driving head on like say 2 Mile Divide I turn them on at night so people dont crash into me but I rarely if ever race those tracks.

Just remembered a long time ago me and a couple other NODO's were racing on Dipping In and we thought catchup came on towards the end of the race. I don't think it's the track any more. Going to test on regular North Loop tonight. Would appreciate if everyone else could try it too. I'm thinking we need to turn catchup and slipstream off BEFORE hitting confirm and then inviting. Excuse me while I put on my nerd glasses for a second but you should probably run some races where you purposely confirm before turning catchup off as well in order to make the test more scientific. But I only have a limit time tp test. I haven't done enough runs the correct way to say catchup won't turn itself on. If I do it the wrong way amd catchup turns on I can't be certain it wouldn't have happened going the correct way. My plan is to race all evening confirming with catchup off and if it never comes on, I'll be confident that it won't happen on race day.

Should try it a couple times like Malice said. Maybe on our last couple races or something. If thats really the cause and we can isolate it then we can avoid this problem altogether

Well if only broughy could verify that Basically it would either be this Elegy made by the guidelines
Or it would be this version of the Sponsor Car and I genuinely prefer this and think it looks a lot better, or am I the only one? =P

BTW guys, the items I posted before and in the first post when it comes to modding your car (carbon stuff in certain places, etc) are just guidelines. If you think it will look better in a different way feel free to do that. As long as the cars match up within teams we're golden More pink = better

If a PS3 team is unavailable tomorrow, the shoe manufacturer Eris would be happy to replace them. Because at Eris, we made cars... Just for the kicks. (Sunrise Orange / Bright Orange) Note that I still haven't played the North Loop more than once, I'm simply offering a replacement because I made some cars out of boredom, I won't seriously compete for the first place if I do get selected. And I'd need a partner. Also, if a team wants to switch their sponsor to Eris for some reason, it's okay with me God damn it that's my favourite team/sponsor/colour choice by far. Dibs on that one next time.

haydugjr I just did a 5 lap practice session with sarconic. I made sure that catchup was turned off and once I "confirmed" the settings I didn't go back. I then invited sarconic. I can say that catchup did not turn itself on on any lap. Regnomo That's just the coolest slogan ever dude, great job! Broughy1322 So you're saying there will be a next time? Good, we'll hold you to that.

I personally think that Elegy would look best with the carbon roof, but without the carbon bumpers.
