I think the locals are getting tired of my practice laps.

Penal Colony worried about lack of preparation Reports coming from north Los Santos today suggest relations may not be as favourable as they seem at the Penal Colony team. That isn't to do with arguments between the drivers, but more worries from the title sponsor over the lack of preparation from driver Broughy1322. The talk coming from the shady back alleys behind the nightclub seems to be related to how Broughy hasn't had enough time in the hot seat and whether there will be enough lubricant to get through (admittedly it is unclear whether these comments are about the race and the cars or something else entirely). Others in more optimistic and perhaps less degrading mindsets believe there is nothing to fear though, given Broughy created the race track in the first place so should have an inherent advantage. However time will tell as to whether the lack of racing over the past weeks will cause Broughy to become the third wheel in the Penal Colony team. Coverage of the North Loop Multi-Class Endurance will be shown in full at your nearest Penal Colony nightclub. Come on in and get banged up!

Well, if I praised haydugjr just a bit more it would make me gay, and Senilsson posted that extreme laptime with the Elegy. I'm sure they're ready to bail Penal Colony out. And if not, well, hopefully you'll have some of that lube left! Oh and are you going to stream the races or not? I thought you said something like that, but maybe it's just a wishful thinking and my mind's playing tricks on me, hehe.

I'm just trying to make podium. I have done little to no practicing. But like I always say when I don't study for an exam, "Go in cold, come out hot."

From Renegade1911's LifeInvader page: The race draws near, so I took some time to contemplate what I hold dear in life, as every racer needs to realize that any given race could be his last. A devastating realization hit me. I love the hills and I don't want to go back into the city. I've practised for the race greatly. And I didn't mind doing it. I had so much fun on those dangerous, quick and curvy roads. See, there's a difference between the roads carving up the hills and your average city street. Up there, it's just you and the track. No barriers to worry about. No poles, no curbs. Just pure joy of driving. It's different in the city. Now, I'm not one of those Top Queer guys you see on CNT. I can't eloquently describe the difference in one humorous sentence. But trust me, the difference is there. And I'll miss it greatly.

Dont know how some of you are dipping into the 5 minutes so easily (Penumbra) My best attempt is so close yet so far :/ Consistent sub 6 minute laps are definitely doable. You're almost there! I'd concentrate on getting the best line possible onto the long straight (both from off of the bridge and up the hill from route 68). I think those two sections are the most important to get right. If you are slow going onto the long straight (and man is it long) you're going to lose a bucketload of time.

Penal Colony's worries subside "Who needs Broughy1322?" they said in a statement, "he's a fan of the Eris team too we've heard and we certainly don't need that kind of footwear in our high class establishment. We'll still use him to make up the numbers for this race though..."
