For all PC F1 Drivers. There will be a Qualifying Session tomorrow after meetmypyro´s daily playlist. So if you want to participate just be online. Playlist starts at 7pm GMT +1 and afterwards we will form a session on blain county 24h Any chance another qualifying session could be slated for Friday at that same time? There's a chance I won't be able to make it to that session on thursday, but I know for a fact I'll be available friday.

I just found out I'm not going to make the first race. Guess I need a sub or just won't make it. Sorry about that. So, what do I need to do since I won't be able to make this weekend? Do I need to drop out or can I miss the race? Also, I was wondering if all races will count in the championship or if it will be similar to some other championships I have seen where some races are not included to account for disconnects etc...?

I know everyone is tired of talking about pit stops. I think the stated version will be OK, but I'm kind of bummed that we won't be able to alter strategy in race like they do in F1. I liked the idea of just knowing you have to run each time period at least once, and being able to adjust when you take those different time periods during the race instead of announcing it up front. The pit watcher would need to record the pit times in the spreadsheet to verify each was used. Seems like it would add a little more to the strategy of the required pit stops.
Is there a reason for the minimum on the pit windows? Seems like if pits were taken too early that is only a disadvantage for the person that took the pit to early? Just one more or less thing to limit things.
I did like ovivoJR's idea about doing a maximum number of laps for each compound, that seemed easier to keep track of and seemed to have the potential to spread the pits out more than if everyone is in the pits at the same 2 times. Since each race is going to be a different number of laps, it would be simple to relay the laps and tire compound laps as well.

It seems the current idea of the pitting method is getting a few of you confused, I'll try to clear it up. Pick a strategy that fits you, so a few combinations; Option, Option, Prime; Option, Prime, Option; Prime, Option, Option; Prime, Option, Prime The idea of "Compounds" is to mix up the length of stints between cars, so worrying which compound you're on doesn't matter (Just remember if you're currently on a short or long stint). Everyone should know their strategy prior to the race, so remembering it shouldn't be complex (Just write it down, so you can review it during the race if you need to). All driver's must use both compounds. A strategy should look like this; Say you start on the "Option" compound 1st Stop: 15 minute mark (Option->Option) 2nd Stop: 30 minute mark (Option->Prime) Or.... Say you start on the "Prime" compound 1st Stop: 35 minute mark (Prime->Option) 2nd Stop: 50 minute mark (Option->Option) RememberOption tire life: 10-15 Minutes Prime tire life: 30-35 Minutes When entering the pits and there is someone in front of you (or pitting), you're specific time starts when you stop, not when you reach the end. This post I'm quoting implies that we must use each tire for at least a set amount of time on track before we can pit (or finish and not get penalized). Would any of these two following strategies be okay to use? (If not, an explanation why is appreciated.) Strategy A: Start with primes Pit 35 minutes in for primes Pit on the final lap for options Strategy B: Start with options Pit on the first lap for primes Pit 35 minutes in for primes

Would like to hear Racers opinion on this.
