Nice work Alex! 2 small question: Your opinion on the weather type still the same, or did you forget to change it in the OP? And about the start timing: Do we have to wait for some sort of signal from the official, or do we start when we see our time ourselves and cloudmcshort is there to supervise. (false start 1 minute penalty?)

I will give a signal at the time you start but that's only for the purpose of letting you know exactly when to go, if you don't hear the signal, you will just have to go at the time you get.

PRERACE TIPPS few suggestions to get the best from your Dakar Experience
- Follow the path if you can see one on the map. Follow the map to foresee the most dagerous spots; - Know where you'd better be cautious: Swamp (cp3-7), Mt Joshia (cp11-13), Raton Canyon (cp15-16, cp21-22), Chilliad Tunnel (38-40), - Weigh your lines; - Desert: cp43-44 keep the right use the railway underpass, cp48-49 keep the house of your right, cp64-66 (use the path or line along the right side of the railway) and 67-68 (many obstacles, keep the right and slow down until the tarmac) - Repair your vehicle: repairing items are located in 4 strategic points, - Avoid any contact: especially near the sections I've mentioned ^before^ Joshia, Canyon and Chilliad.
REMEMBER If you make someone have a bad crash, he needs to respawn and the previous check point is half mile back.. you must wait anyway until he's back in front of you. So use your horn, your light at night, your mic if you have one, but don't rush any overtake in those sections unless the guy in front favours the move, or unless you have space and speed enough to get a clean overtake - when you chase: only clean overtakes will count, so if you make contact with anyone you must get back immediately behind him EVEN IF YOU DON'T CAUSE CRASH - when you are chased: keep your line, don't wave, no obstructive defense, let faster vehicles pass
BATTLE SAME CLASS SAME VEHICLE in this situation the guy in front might be tempted not to clear the way for more then one reason. Of course he's not supposed to do it, just like the guy in the back is not supposed to touch him. In this case be smart: if you have caught up to someone who had an advantage at the start, you just need to keep his pace to result faster at the finish. So take the risk only if you need to go up through the field to reduce an increasing gap with your direct opponent some positions in front ..the idea of splitting the Cars class in two is meant to make easier to understand the gaps between direct opponents.
FOLLOW THE ISTRUCTIONS AT THE FINISH - wait in arriving order for slower competitors - cross the finish line in the same order Is the only way for me to calculate precisely the real overall times
