I've changed my mind. I agree with everyone else. We don't need the advantage. Post the video and get some well deserved views. The effort you put into your videos will win you 100k in no time. #NotEvenWorried

I suppose Broughy1322 is right, maybe you should upload a video before someone else does, seen as it was this forum who basically found out about it. If it helps the channel grow then I'm all for it. P.S. Can i add some of the players on the forums on Xbox 360 just so i can get to know some of you better and race. GT is Craig 9876 Hi Craig 9876, you can add me, knockoutthread3. i'm usually racing on weekends.

Want to get faster? Win races without doing the sneaky tricks everyone else is doing! I honestly haven't noticed that large of a difference. I stopped doing it and I seem to be just as fast.

The start is a little faster, but like I said not easy to hit perfectly every time and if there isn't a long straight after the start it's useless. The trick with pushing the controller forward, idk in my opinion, there isn't much of a difference. And if everybody is going to use it, you need to use it. Otherwise it would be even harder to compete against the crew members.

I used to race a Comet in the sports class against crew members and compete with the guys in Elegies. I led the LSGP Endurance along with two other Coquettes up against Comets and Massacros. Something so minor that people still aren't really sure that it works a year after release is not going to make a race-winning difference 99% of the time. Trowa told me about this a month ago, I tried it for a couple hours and decided that it wasn't worth the effort.

If 2 racers are almost exactly the same level and one uses it and the other not, it would make a difference. There are always other factors but if it's true what Trowa said that it's almost a sec faster on the LSGP straight. It could be the winning overtake.

But if you focus on braking properly and not hitting poles, you'll gain that second right back. And then if you ever end up in a race that actually matters, you can hold it forward on the longer straights and gain even more time. There's really no reason to use a trick like this in friendly races.

Second thing I noticed was that even when Shaggy had a particularly bad corner going into a long straight he was able to accelerate passed his crew members(presumably strong racers just like all of us) so easily that they jokingly say "that rockstar dev speed" everytime he passes them. But how does he do it? Well this bit maybe sound really dumb and bullshit but I assure you it works and Twilicane will back me up. Its so simple it hurts me to say it. Press forward on the stick on straights. Yep thats it. You press forward and just like bikes(I think bikes are the reason its in the game honestly) you will go faster. Now obviously you cant pop a wheelie in a car but if there was a car you could off the start line my guess is it would make you accelerate even faster because its in the game mechanics. what.... the.... fuck.....

As long as one person in a lobby uses it, everyone who doesn't use it is at an immediate disadvantage.

Unless you're racing neck and neck with Doodle or Twilicane you can improve by not using this trick when others are. And if everyone else is using it and it's as effective as you all seem to think it is, you'll learn to be faster in corners to keep up with them. When it's time for an endurance race, guess who will be the better driver?

When it's time for an endurance race, guess who will be the better driver? If you're losing .2 seconds on every straightaway, cornering can only get you so far. That being said, I've only been in like 10 nodo races so far, and 7 of them were against Twilicane, so I guess discretion is in order.
