So awhile back I was watching Shaggy aka GUnit's videos and I started to notice 2 things that didnt set right with me. I will now reveal his secrets to all of NoDo because frankly they are so OP thats its borderline cheating lol and I also dont believe in having an unfair advantage over the competition. I have revealed this in the skype chat multiple times but it was in the PS3 chat and they all more or less ignored me. Probably because they have never seen it in action
First off is what I will call the Uber Boost. Most of you think revving your engine is a bad thing at the start line right? WRONG! Its the best thing you can do. The second you can start redlining your car. Even before the 3,2,1 starts redline it, actually its really important you start before the 3,2,1 if you dont this WILL NOT work. Keep the throttle maxed out until right before the 1 in the countdown disappears then release the throttle fully until the GO sign pops up. At this point do what you would normally do. Throttle right as GO comes pops up. Essentially the only time you dont want to be off the throttle is between the "1" and "GO". This causes you to accelerate through your gears much faster than anyone not doing it even if they perfectly time the "turbo boost" they wont be able to keep up and you will pass them.
Second thing I noticed was that even when Shaggy had a particularly bad corner going into a long straight he was able to accelerate passed his crew members(presumably strong racers just like all of us) so easily that they jokingly say "that rockstar dev speed" everytime he passes them. But how does he do it? Well this bit maybe sound really dumb and bullshit but I assure you it works and Twilicane will back me up. Its so simple it hurts me to say it. Press forward on the stick on straights. Yep thats it. You press forward and just like bikes(I think bikes are the reason its in the game honestly) you will go faster. Now obviously you cant pop a wheelie in a car but if there was a car you could off the start line my guess is it would make you accelerate even faster because its in the game mechanics.
Note: Most noticeable in a Zentorno idk why its so much more OP in that car but Twilicane and I agree on that.
Combine these 2 tips together and you have an Uber Boost that is so OP you will leave all the random bad kids in the dust before you get to the first turn.
Enjoy and go nonchalantly dominate!
