Do I see an illegal overtake on DNL_Jackson here? Car exceeding track limits and gaining an advantage..? If you watch the replay closely you will notice that at the exact time of the overtake I am on the road with 2 wheels. Are you guys joking or did I miss something? Where can I found the rule about how many wheels have to be on the road while overtaking? Talking about track limits while racing on sidewalks on some tracks - seems a bit odd to me  Anyway, I think ovivoJR wasn't gaining an advantage becaus of exceeding tracklimits, he was gaining an advantage because I was going on the dirt and lose control over my car for a second what cost me some speed. |

So, I'm thinking of hosting a "track day" style event, where teams can compete for some fun on an off-day that has no effect on the actual race standings and such. I am also wanting to open it up to the people that wanted to race in this but couldn't for whatever reason (a few have made mention of being unable to participate due to the days that all the nodo events tend to just be held on weekends, which some people only work on weekends and thus can't take part). It's mostly a bit of fun around a track or two, just using the same sort of rules on cars, tires, etc, as a normal SATCC race. It could also give a quick look into other areas of the maps for track selection to serve as inspiration for future tracks to use in the second season. I'm wanting to get a few laps around the tracks I've got in mind for it with all of the cars, but with limited garage space, I'm only able to do 3 of the possible 7 available cars. So I'd need some assistance to make sure that everyone's car choices are going to be viable and not at a severe advantage or disadvantage.

Well bear in mind, when we were doing the practice sessions we would just respawn cars - helped people decide what they did/didn't want.
The timing of this event is largely driven by myself and Sabertoothwolf. Australia suffers on three fronts; bad internet, disadvantageous timezone, and being fucking amazing. The only time we could get everyone together is when it is. So, noting that's not always convenient, I am ok with your approach blade and think it should happen.
