[PC, Complete] San Andreas Touring Car Championship

OK guys, the next race is tentatively scheduled for Friday 18 September at 10pm UTC.

The tracks will be:

Zan Cudochamps

This track aims to replicate the feel of the legendary Belgian circuit Spa Francorchamps. A long straight connects a first sector which climbs up the surrounding hills, though a quick but tight chicane, and up to a sharp left hander which links up with the second sector, a series of sweeping downhill curves which will push driver and car to their limits. The third sector is the straight, which will have the car at top speed in no time.

Barriers block the most dangerous drops off bridges and cliffs, and the pit lane is intentionally narrow and slow. In most motorsports, pitting involves changing tyres, adding fuel, sometimes swapping drivers... so it should be a slow event.

Union Grain 3 Way Long

A rare sight, truly - a Nos track that's up near Union Grain and YouTool hardware.

This track offers a number of fast turns, some hairpins, and some shared sections of track to create a number of good overtaking opportunities. There's a few bits of dirt you need to cross too, so be careful getting that power down!

Also, just wanted to note - The_Bad_Loser and Team FlyUS had been incorrectly classified in the standings. The error has since been rectified, with apologies to driver and team both.

After races 5 and 6, we'll have races 7 and 8 and conclude the season. This means two things:

1) Benefactor take the constructors championship, and either ovivo or Iceman take the drivers, and
2) We start season 2.

What's the point of this?

Part of the joys of following motorsport is the hours spend idly speculating about which driver will go to what team, when. And for the nerdier fans, which team will source which engine partner, when (apparently Red Bull are ditching Renault for Ferrari!).

So the second seasons allows for:

1) Teams to change cars if they want (we have 2 Benefactor Surano teams. I'd only allow one more!)
2) Drivers to move teams

I thought that was only for race 3 and 4, but I guess ill keep racing for Nutsaki then.

Fair enough

I discovered something confusing - maybe some of you already know - but I just realised it a few days ago. If the racing mode is set to GTA I'm not able to make a bet. There is simply no option. If the mode is standard I have this option under the player's name.

After rewatching my stream footage from this event I saw that I was not the only one with this problem - so is this a bug or what?

Do I see an illegal overtake on DNL_Jackson here? Car exceeding track limits and gaining an advantage..?
