Thanks! I'm late - but it would be a pleasure if I can join! Anyone team who likes to drive with me I would join.  Benefactor sounds like a team you might want to join? Why not! But you have to be aware that I'm running on low budget mechanics and as in the past my engines crashed due to some forgotten screws xD It's a game with the devil (with the capital R*), but sometimes my engine keeps it up. Btw: My upload speed is above 0.90 Mbps and I have set portforwarding, but since I don't know where the servers are located (I guess on the Easter Island) there's probably nothing I can do to get better mechanics... |

Today I'm a proud Japanese-American. As the manager of the Nutsaki restaurant I'm proud to announce the next entry in this years S.A. Touring Car Championship. Our top contender and our first driver is Superstepa_ followed by @hiberg in our second seat. Superstepa is an elite driver and we aren't in the slightest of doubt that he will perform on a top level. HiBerg is our new hope, he's inexperienced and by signing him we took a great risk with the hope that he will surprise not just us but everyone involved.

I'm really sorry but I think I should play a lot less.. It feels like I put every spare moment I have in playing GTA while I have so much to take care of IRL. So from now until I don't know when, I'm going to be on hiatus.

OK so over the weekend just past (or still slightly ongoing for those not on my side of the IDL) we ran some pre-season testing with representatives from the Benefactor and Pfister factory teams. The conclusions were uniform; 1) That this series is likely to be highly competitive with no clearly dominant car; 2) That the series could easily support long form races Bearing this in mind, I will look to expand the series to a regular monthly event after this coming meet on 31 July with each event being one 30 lap race with a randomised grid. The first race will also be 2 x 20 lap races instead of 3 x 15 with two mandatory pitstops in each. Safety car will be virtual if ntthesavant is unable to make it, otherwise ntthesavant will be safety car driver. Savant, do you have a tuned Felzter? I feel like Benefactor would have supplied a car to act as safety car... So, the first two tracks will be <drumroll>... Grotti F1 Montreal by Ovivo and Blaine County South by some guy called Broughy. These tracks are very different in nature - the Montreal circuit has a first twisty first sector, a very quick second sector, and a final sector that comprises the difficult wall of champions left-right chicane. Blaine South has two very long straights which will suit the cars with high top speeds or excellent acceleration, along with a series of technical turns that will benefit the agile, nimbler cars among us. None of these tracks should favour any one car over the others and each car stands an excellent chance of winning. I wanted to include Blaine North or Cluck'n'Bell, but I think they're better suited to a later period when we have a bit more comfort racing these cars - the run down to Turn 1 is about a metre on Blaine N and that would be a disastrous start to our season if we ended up piling up there. .fiyah, Akcros terrabyte - can you guys form a team of 2 and can the remaining driver join Mid's Team Tw@? The Carbonizzare will do pretty well around both these tracks, with its top speed being a massive asset in Blaine South. |
