I'll just say the first proper race I ended up in didn't go well. I made a horrible mistake. DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS!!! xD I, ah... ahem... can't remember...

Don't think iv posted here yet.
I got an invite from Cirrus and joined his race. I saw a nearly full lobby set to GTA. Me being untrusting of GTA racing at the time but wanting to get some money decided to start shooting as soon as weapons enabled.
But no one was shooting back, no one was even making contact with each other.
So I'm like "oh shit, is this that competitive racing crew stuff?" And it was. I had already watched broughys videos but didn't think I'd ever fall into one of their races.
Being a random in their eyes I got taken out a lot but idgaf. I was enjoying racing in my Comet. It even started raining and basically everyone got fucked because of it and I got up with Cirus to about 6th.
Joined NODO after that playlist.

Jt33396, I burst out laughing when I read the shooting bit in your post... I also had that uneasy feeling when I saw GTA for the first time. Cheers, Hemi

First supers race, 30 ppl lobby, couldn't even brake before the first corners of circuit because re7bs don't need to brake ... got my partially customized turismo lapped by ~3 ppl by the end.

I had a number of brilliant first races with a few folks on PC earlier today. It's fair to say that I got my bumper handed to me in all cases, but I was genuinely pleased to be beaten through skill rather than cheap take-outs or bullets!
Although I'm mainly intending to be part of NODO under a supportive role (marshalling, filming etc.), I'd have no trepidation joining in with more races in the future.
Kudos to all, and great respect is due.

It was fun, but I think my 'state of art' hardware(and internet) are interfering a whole lot with it.
Obviously, I got rekt hard too but that was mostly down to (lack of) skill and track knowledge.

Participated in the weekly playlist. Best finish? 6th, second best finish?12th and two dnf's. I've been used to finishing in the top five before this, but i learnt a lot about clean racing. Would definitely recommend people to race here. Will be joining again.

Been in some all NODO lobbies the last 4 days and...superb!!
I'm level 390~ on the PS4 and been racing since day 1 online (ps3).
Always watched brough and shaggy and picano and always thought, wow, I wish I could be a part of that, but being such a lazy bastard I never even looked up how to do it, so Broughy made a video and he mentioned it was "coming up for 3 years since nodo" or something like that and I just thought fuck it, why not. I'm not getting any younger.
Had a racing record of like 1700wins 1000loss and was winning 90% + of races in random lobbies (catch up on! etc , usual shit)
So when I was in these all nodo lobbies I was so anxious to see, am I ACTUALLY good at racing or am I just a regular joe. Turns out, I do ok. I don't win all the time, but I'm actually HAPPY to lose to these talented amazing drivers. The amount of respect shown on the tracks to each other just blew my mind and made me see the game in a whole different way (yes, after 3 years) So needless to say, I'm enjoying it and I'm learning a lot, and I'm taking part in my 1st ever nodo event this friday (slow muscle tussle ps4)
Thanks all for reading. Peaceout.
