Are you serious!? How can you put so much pressure onto Sugar_Free_Nos for making a decision that is completly right? If you are not satisfied with the organisation of this event (track choice) or anybody else that is in the competition you should really boycott this race b/c i don´t feel comfortable knowing people around me actually don´t want to race. The choice to take Scrapyard Dash into this event was a quick shot by Nos that he hadn´t overthought. After talking to some of the competitors and actually seeing the times for the classes on that specific track he had to make this decision. There is no need for a vote. This event is hosted by Sugar_Free_Nos and if he decides to change it then you are free to leave. Scrapyard is not suited for such an event. No matter how much you like. GT3 being lapped 15 times in one race is utterly stupid and will only lead to crashes, misunderstandings and confusion. I don´t want to hear the complaints about being knocked of the track or not being able to pass somebody if it would have been avoidable by changing the track to a better suited one. It is very frustrating how some of the community members cannot overcome their ego for the common good. Just accept the decision and start practicing the new track instead of giving Sugar_Free_Nos a hard time by saying you will boycott the race. What bullshit is that. Are we in Kindergarden or what? This is completely true.. I wanted to say something similar, but without being so... I can't think of the word now, but I would have basically worded it nicely. I love scrapyard dash, as I said in my previous posts, but not any track can be on an endurance, despite how much you like it. I'm so thankful Flyby is winning because MCEC on Scrapyard with those times would be too tiresome and annoying. I do think it is childish though, that you said you would boycott the race... You can't have everything your way (And I'm talking to Vixtro and anyone who thought the same as him), and you need to deal with having tougher challenges instead of running away from them.. The word you're looking for is blunt. Sometimes sounds a bit rude, but it's necesary.

Politics and racing, never a good combination.
I don't like being told I'm going to be served roast chicken, then I end up being served roast shit. Bit of an exaggeration, but it gets the point across.
Whatever the vote favours, I will roll with it, only fair.

Can we at least get a link to the Scrapyard Dash job (been searching around and can't find one)? I'd like to try this track out for myself. Personally, I'm a big fan of wild-card type races and from previous discussion the scrapyard job sounds like it could offer a unique twist that the other tracks on the schedule simply won't offer. There might be a shitton of lapping going around, but that's what'll make the race unique and perhaps more exciting versus the others. And truthfully, 1-minute laps are still VERY long; hell, these guys seem perfectly content running 15-second lap times: youtu.be/EmDl7eo3wRE?t=41m42sAlso, regarding Rockford Flyby, if it is used, the start-finish line needs to be moved. It should not be on a curve, it should be on one of the long straights that the track has. SF lines on curves get real awkward for those rare photo finishes. I don't have the footage on me, but there was even a time I was racing with someone going into the final corner, they bumped me and spun me out, and I missed the start-finish line because of its' awkward placement! This caused me to lose the spot I had instead of spinning past the finish line like what should've happened. (Yes I know I'm a reserve but I still feel like I should provide some input on this.)

Also, the poll was obviously pointing to FLyby, so that will be the track that we do.
Thank you everyone for your input.

Love the spreadsheet, though it could be a bit bigger? It's all packed in a small area, but hey it works, so I'm not gonna complain anymore.

Tomorrow, 1pm UTC, I will host a practise session on Rockford Flyby with 15 laps. Every GT class is welcome and we do a normal race with lapping and stuff. I think it is a good idea to let GT3, then GT2, then GT1 start and to let 15 sec gabs between them to see some lapping between different classes.

I probably won't be awake for this because I'm American and have a messed up sleep schedule but thanks for doing this anyways. I'll definitely try to make it.

Hawk and Little are looking for a substitute driver for GT1 tomorrow. PM me if you have any questions and I can fill you in on what you need to know.
edit: We've found a reserve now.
