hello,
racing in random lobbies can be awful. you have to deal with catchup, slipstream, ramming, and weapons. once you made it, you'll get thrown into sea races, air races or deathmatches.
fortunately, you found your way to NoDo! we will be hosting a playlist of different tracks on a daily base, providing a clean and enjoyable racing experience.
to keep it that way, and how to join, make sure to check out the FAQ below:
when does the playlist start?the playlist starts
every day at 5PM UTC. i'll send a short reminder in the skype group 10 minutes earlier. a link about how to join the skype group can be found at the bottom.
how long does the playlist take? do i have to be there for the whole time?it usally takes about 2 hours. you dont have to be there for the whole time. feel free to join and leave whenever you like to. just keep in mind, that we cannot stop the 60 second timer inbetween races, before the job launches it on its own. so if you're joining late, i recommend to get in the current race and spectate until it ends, so you'll be in for the next one.
this is a completely different timezone - is there another playlist or anything similar?we got a couple of people currently planning it for different timezones. in general, get to know your crew members, wear your crew tag, and you should be able to find crew internal races throughout the whole day.
does NoDo have to be set as my active crew?as it is part of the crew guidelines. besides that, we can only invite crew members and friends to jobs. unless you're not on anyones friendslist, who already joined the job, we won't be able to invite you, if NoDo is not your active crew.
do i need fully upgraded vehicles for all classes?custom vehicles will be on for the majority of our races. we occasionally race stock cars, but since most of us have upgraded vehicles, they're gonna be used. there is nothing wrong about using a stock car, but if you want to compete with the top spots of the grid, you might need a fully upgraded car.
i dont know the tracks - where can i practice them?in the playlist. this isnt too serious, nor competitive. use this as your practice. we have great content creators within the crew, feeding us with awesome new tracks. this can be the place to race them first. in general, it is always useful to at least know broughy's tracks. we'll be playing some of them every day. you can find them in the link section at the bottom.
why is the race set to GTA?unless your vehicle isnt badly damaged, or you're stuck, you dont want to use the respawn function, since it might spawn you right into the middle of other racers. instead, most of the tracks will have a pitline, where you can repair your vehicle. there will be no speedboosts, rocket/weapon pickups.
do i have to perform mandatory pitstops?unless not specifically pointed out before the race, in this playlist we only use the pit to repair damaged vehicles.
if this is not competitive, what is it?
we all want to enjoy clean and fair racing, no matter what your position in the grid is. things you might enjoy besides winning a race, are
-
get to know your crew members and make friends. - having fun driving in the middle of the pack while avoiding contact. you can battle other players and fight for positions, but no touchy touchy.
- practice different tracks. where are your breaking points? make sure you know the tight sections, where collisions might happen.
- get a feeling for your cars. we got a lot of classes, and a lot of different cars within the classes. gotta control em all!
- learn from more experienced racers how to take lines; how to approach corners. driving behind someone can be useful.
- 999,999 RP + $$$$$$
if you have any further questions about this playlist, just post them in the thread or PM me.

this is an open crew and so is the playlist, which means that there will always be a skill gap between new players and more experienced players. to make sure everyone can enjoy racing with each other, we
MUST stick to the guidelines and show respect to our crew members.
we're all sitting at home, playing a video game together, and we're all racing under the same flag. it's not always about winning, but having a good time and learning something.
to keep up the harmony, make sure to internalize the basics by watching this video. twice. stick to it like everybody else in here does.
incidents will always happen. but unless its not purpose and you're respectful, no ones gonna be worried about it.
IF theres a black sheep in the future though, we will find it. and paint it pink.
>> participants will find theirselves in this spreadsheet <<thank you
.fiyah for creating this.
it's is a simple system. not for giving us the opportunity to pillory you, but for yourself to keep track of things you might have to fix in the future. in the end, it is sports. and unsportsmanlike behavior comes with consequences.
however, as long as you've read/watched at least half of all the fancy lines above and stick to it, your name in the list should stay blank forever.
see you guys in the driving mirror!
