Okay, so, first of all, I'd like to thank everyone for sharing the great racing experience by being a part of this awesome championship. We had some amazing battles, crashes, dramas (not that amazing but F1 without a drama? Cmon). Thanks ovivoJR for organising this masterpiece, it was really, really fun, I'm hoping to see a Season 3 in the near future, be it in GTAV or GTAVI. Thanks arken for putting up a great battle with me at Yellow Jack, that was definitely one of the best battles I've ever had in any racing game. Thanks my ISP for screwing me over for Zancudo, making me start all the way from the back of the pack, managing to grab that 5th place anyway so can't say it wasn't satisfying. Thanks my amazing math skills for screwing me over for Mirrors Edge, completely missing my pit time and leaving way too early. Why u re so hard, math?! Thanks Superstepa_ for bumping me at Monaco, transforming my car into a pinball ball, leaving me in a miserable state afterwards, at 21st position. It wasn't your fault but you waited so kudos for that, true bro <3 That was without a doubt my best race in the season, pulling an enormous comeback from 21st up to 3rd. #Monaco4lyfe Thanks Dinka Motorsport mechanics for sneaking up on Ovivo's car and messing up his suspension for Peckerwood ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), allowing me to peacefully finish in 2nd. Thanks doompenguin for providing a great battle at Spa, making it really interesting, hope to see more of it in Kloden's Le Mans! Thanks Ovivo for making my heart race at Montreal, when the rain kicked in. Thanks arken for providing an interesting battle once again, at McKenzie. Huge thanks for Ganjalo for teaming up with me for Grotti F1. I'm really glad that I got to be a part of such a serious event. Thanks for giving me that chance, I hope I didn't disappoint. And last but not least, congrats to arken for becoming the new world champion for Grotti F1. I did not expect to fight for the championship with anyone, fighting for the title seemed like a madman's dream, I'm really surprised with the outcome. Couldn't wish for a better finale, highly exceeded my own, personal expectations. I know it's kinda TL:DR post but whatever, wraps up the championship for me, truly amazing experience. GG Everyone! URGENT EDIT - Thanks @grodo for showing peeps the true meaning of hype, Darn and Ovivo will confirm that the level of hype was definitely over 9000, simply unbeatable. GG man!

Was I not tagged I probably wouldn't post this but here I am, Grodo The Hype Man talking The Grotti F1 World Championship from a viewer's perspective. Well, as y'all are probably aware of, the NoDo's racing community has been introduced to me by (Mah boii) _ShediM_. I ain't big of a racer myself so, at first, I didn't pay any attention. Our conversations had more and more of that competitive hype I know from the good old days of gaming so I started lurking the streams. I think it was Oh_Darn's chat that I visited at first and I really liked the way it all looked; the pre-race meetings, grid setup, anthems - I can make a long list of details that paint the big picture and that picture is something I have decided to be a part of. By watching the streams and cheering for all the exceptional drivers I have improved my driving skills, too. That's a big one for you streamers, eh, make more content so I can learn. Others can learn too, but first and foremost - me.
That's what I really like about events like this - not only do they show the skill which is, obviously, top notch but they also provide some educational and entertaining values. That's how you attract people and that is how you attracted me. I had a great time following the championship all the way from the Mirror's Edge up to the Grand Finale cheering and getting hyped for my friends. I've grown fond of all the people here, I may sometimes be a part of some dramas but that's only on the track. Competitors should, in my opinion, always hug it out and grab a beer (or orange juice if you're a weirdo like me) together. I'm looking forward to the next event hosted by ovivoJR cause this boy has some serious passion for racing and it shows in each and every second of his stream. Thank you to Oh_Darn for giving me the very first GTA racing lesson I had in NoDo, talking me through suspensions and spoilers. Thank you to ovivoJR for hosting this event and all the co-hosts, pit watchers ( .fiyah I love you) etc. Shout out to the Progen team, arken and Madderose for being the center of all the interesting drama and staying good sport about it, that's what this is about. I obviously can't forget about mah boi and the Vice Champion of The Grotti F1 World Championship _ShediM_. You're a scrub and you know it. I hope to see you all during the Le Mans in which, surprise to no one, I'll be driving the LMGT Banshee 900R because yup, y'all have inspired me to try putting the big boy pants on myself. We'll see how I do and maybe I'll stick around for longer than I have initially expected. I'm typing this at 1:46AM my time so I wish you all sweet dreams and beautiful nightmares. Cheers, The Hype Man.

"we're here with aerial coverage of the grot- OH NO WE'RE GOIN DOWN" hahahahahahaha EDIT: Bonus clip of that tight battle between me and Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) for 13th! This wasn't the first time me and grim went at it for position, and it certainly won't be the last!

Congratulations to Arken, you're showing us how it's done, with style. Props to Ovivo for organising and racing such a competitive event. Big thanks to the race officials for their help. Shout out to my teammate Shedim for his great results, and to all drivers for good and clean racing.
I'm very lucky to be a part of this championship, a small and weird island of seriousness and competitiveness in GTA, and I'm learning a lot through it. I'm looking forward for next season!

I'm glad I've got at least ONE win this season.. Maybe next time I'll be contesting for the driver championship! Thank you everyone for participating in this event, you are building the awesomeness. Thank you arken, you are the man, we are the baguettes, it was awesome to race in Progen with you. Thank you again ovivoJR for all efforts and coolness needed to keep this amazing event going. It's really the best event around in Nodo PC, driver & racing-related.

A (cheesy) look at some "impressive" stats I achieved after making some starts here and there in both seasons of Grotti F1 (Might be some slight inaccuracies.) *DNSs reflect races where I was scheduled to start but did not ultimately start.

2016 Grotti F1 - Track FavoritesSo here are the three top tracks of this season voted by viewers and drivers: 1st: Grotti F1 Yellow Jack by Prutoog (Belgium) The first race of the season wins the title as best track of the 2016 Grotti F1 World Championship. A great track located in the in the desert area south of Sandy Shores. With its unique design and great opportunities for close battles it provided us with one of the best battles this season between arken and _ShediM_ . Congratulations to you Prutoog and thank you for letting us race on this one of a kind track. 2nd: Grotti F1 McKenzie by cloudmcshort (Sweden) The last race of this season and decider for the championship has come in at 2nd place in the track voting. This beautiful track in the Grape Seed area had one of the best flows all season. The creative pit area and the challenging highspeed turns made this track one of a kind. We were able to witness the closest finish for the 1st position all season with Madderose and Superstepa_ only being seperated by half a car length. Thank you cloudmcshort for creating this McKenzie version for our event. 3rd: Grotti F1 Montreal by ovivoJR (Canada) One of the classics of NoDo racing has made it again into the top 3 tracks of the Grotti F1 World Championship. This simple but effective track always provided us with close battles and side by side racing. With his only point scoring finish fab. ICEMAN won this historic Grand Prix while viewers were focused on one of the top battles this season between former F1 champion ovivoJR and Oh_Darn . Only downside to this track is the lack of showers in the paddock area which led to F1 champion arken missing this round. -ovivoJR- Oh_Darn _ShediM_ Superstepa_ cloudmcshort doompenguin Benimi jeffreyb1990 Dnl_Jackson Ganjalo Madderose arken michiski22 Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) StoryVS serviinutiles C_Hong redlaserbm fab. Congratulations to arken on winning the title, and to Madderose for solid points all season - you've done Progen proud. Bon travail, nous sommes fiers de vous! Well done to the other participants in this event, whenever I watched Oh_Yarn's stream I saw some excellent racing.
