Now we've reached the "make your own event if you dont like it" point.. took longer than i thought. I'm out of this discussion Pls learn to read, I have not written that. You can just not understand how it is to be an event host. And to be honest, you and jeffrey should really watch you words. All that shit putting on ovivo is just not right. To a certain level I understand your point. But the words thrown at event hosts in general cannot be accepted that way. So, pls behave yourself! I never went out of line. I only said he should have explained it before the announcement not after people get mad for not getting an explanation.

Well I'm founder and owner of the team and usually those people get to make those decisions. I also made the decision for the start of the season who would be my teammate. If ovivo had just explained it to me and benimi before annoucing it, there wouldn't have been this kind of an issue. It would have been a bit rude to benimi, but he would have been the first reserve. That would have been the sensible way. Btw being my teammate is dangerous. 3 of the 4 have gone missing for some time and only 1 of those 3 has returned yet. You have a point there and I'm not saying you are wrong with this even if the event host still can reject reserves. It all started with ppl calling out reserves without contacting the event host in the first place. The event host has to plan all these things and its getting hard for him if no one is talking with him. Benimi is the one who feels left behind, what I can understand but it is not only ovivo's fault. The ppl that are thinking that their nominates are set in stone are at fault in my opinion. Because they are giving hope to the reserves even if the decision is not proven by the host. And where it all starts to get over the top is when those ppl starting to throw shit at the event host. I can only say, plz stop here - it can only getting worse.

We only need to keep it civilized.

I never went out of line. I only said he should have explained it before the announcement not after people get mad for not getting an explanation. You are right, you didn't went out of line. My apologies for that. But my other arguments are still there. There were like 3 drop outs within a short time and ovivo is just one person to deal with it. He had already iceman and c_hong in mind when the teams announced their reserves wihtout contacting ovivo. You are right that he could have made the first move and contact you but, to be honest, it would be way easier if the teams would contacting him and telling him the reserves. You/your team has just bad luck because you called out your reserve at last. Ovivo tried to satisfy everyone. You and benimi are now the ones who have to deal with that situation and I feel sorry for benimi. But my opion is still that this have could been avoided if the teams would contacted the event host before making promises to the reserves. Think about how this is handled in the MCEC. There you have absolute no right to decide about your reserve. But there is a reason for this and if this discussion gets any further this method will be taken in other events as well.

That's why I'm abusing the system, to get rid off it, it is purely luck based, and nothing should be like that.

With the MCEC method benimi would have gotten the spot, because he's higher on the reserve list. Except if someone else higher on the list had shown interest.

We never truly had a system in place to deal with reserves. It's always been a bit of a mess. It's first come first serve in some sense but I've also seen the first person passed over for someone else on the list.

But this MCEC reserve system is shit. Also, just for you information, it was the USB cable that was in fault. I changed/tested it and now it's ok. I would NEVER drive a serious event with a battery I didn't check (I don't even use battery, even better!), as I never drive my car without checking pressure/oil/coolant regularly. And even mor with my old motorbike (RIP). You could have talked to me Shedim, you proved here a point that is not the one you think. See you on Peckerwood, everyone. Welcome fab. ICEMAN, I'll happily drive against and with you!

But this MCEC reserve system is shit. It is way better than this, it's based on something, that is always better than anything do with pure luck. And I think is pretty good, aside from that I think I'm in the wrong spot.

As I said, it was the battery OR the controller itself. I didn't want any bad blood between any of us, "fucking you up" wasn't my intention, my report did not contain any "I request penalty for him" or anything of that sort, I just wanted Ovivo to see that, nothing more. Let's just move on, no point in being angry at each other, if I do something stupid, you're always welcome to let Ovivo know.
