Small question
How many people actually remember people's location so much it affects their way of racing? I'm actually curious and interested.

You could say a player's country is one more factor in the "lag equation", along with the current visible lag, the past experience you have with that player, and every other bit of information available.

I mostly just try to remember who's australian, because they're almost guaranteed to lag on my screen. Then there's a few other people, like my teammate, where a laghit can happen sometimes if i get TOO close. When running up to laggy cars, I usually just do what ender said; I keep my normal racing line like they are probably/hopefully doing as well and don't try risky overtaking like a divebomb or something.

I just split the groups into European accent and American accent. I mostly know where all the mutes live though, so no worries with them. {Spoiler} ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm Allen James from Cloud Sports, with another pre-season driver's interview coming to you from the Los Santos Yacht Club.
In the back row today we have Ganjalo from Obey - Nihon and jsantospt from Pro-Laps.
In the front row we have Smithy from Bravado Racing Herogut from Debonair Redwood, and Bezerka3 from Merryweather.
Joining us via teleconference from his island volcano lair is Doompenguin from Arcadius.
First question is for Ganjalo - second season partnered with Stocking, and a new team announcement. How are you feeling ahead of this season?
Ganjalo: Thanks, Allen. I'm feeling pretty good. The premature end of the championship was disappointing for Karin Motorsports, beaten by our rivals Vanilla Unicorn, the Sultan customer team. Things are different now, we've got the financial support of the Nihon5 consortium, a strong car from Obey, and we had enough time to improve the processes we set up last season. My German partner often has to act as a buffer between the Kamikaze managers and my nonchalant French self, but still, it's a great experience to be surrounded by people so devoted, and it's good for the morale to know these guys are confident in my ability to race and were willing to extend my contract. I sure will try my best to bring them good results and prove them right.
How does the 9F feel on track? Do you feel like points positions are possible this season? Or even podiums?
Ganjalo: Of course, it's a lot more potent than the Karin Sultan, but it's also a lot more demanding and the slightest mistake can offset the car. My 9F is still going through a series of tests and the team mechanics are doing their best to accommodate my requests, making small adjustments every time we're out on the track. Our combined efforts are paying off, we're almost there, I'm already getting good and consistent lap times. The engine lacks some juice at the top end of the power band but nothing like last season's car, and it's very agile in tight sections. Points are definitely attainable, podiums... It would require a few stars to align, but it's not out of reach
Santos, you're driving for a race winning team in Pro-Laps with a championship favourite, Superstepa, as a teammate. How are you settling in to the team environment?
Santos: I feel like the championship is more in my hands than in Stepa hands, and that make me feel nervous, I will try my best to be as close as possible to Stepa pace, I think if I can do 2/3 of Stepa points this championship ProLaps can dream on a high finishing position. Having a fast driver in your team is nice but the pressure to not be a dead weight for the team isn't
How does the Banshee feel? It's been a solid, front of the pack contender for some time now and has attracted two very good racers to it. Can you see yourself getting podium positions this season?
Santos: After many laps of the test track with different manufacturers the final choice resided with the Bravado Banshee, its a car that is very consistent across all SATCC tracks, while we might have other cars that will excel in some tracks and be off the pace in others, I think the Banshee is a good pick for its ability to be always competitive, it might not shine in certain tracks but it surely wont disappoint us throughout SATCC season, I value consistency over being ahead of the pack in 1/2 races. With top drivers like Stepa I feel it will be a podium contender pretty much every race, and hopefully I will be there to split the podium with him. One individual objective is trying to finish on points every race
Smithy, onto you. Earlier, your teammate Sugar_Free_Nos said you'd been thoroughly Americanised. Can I test that theory?
You go into a pub and ask to sample a new beer. You dislike it. Do you
a) Ask to try something else entirely, or b) Order the entire thing to avoid wasting the barman's time?
Smithy: I'm so American that I'll create an entirely new option just to suit my own needs - I'll sue this damned bartender for wasting my precious freedom time with crappy beer!
And one more: you discover one day that a colleague lives in the same area as you and uses the same train station. Do you:
a) Leave the house earlier to avoid the horror of having to converse in the mornings, or b) Enjoy the company, as we're social creatures and isn't it great to have friends?
Smithy: Who would want to socialise with an acquaintance on a train? It has to be option A, but then I'd definitely sue them if they enter my personal space. These damn socialists trying to spread their socialism onto me like they're butter on a knife and I'm a slice of toast. Or something like that.
You're highly favoured as a Driver's championship contender. Are you confident ahead of this season?
Smithy: If I don't win then I'm fairly certain someone's going to be getting sued.
Herogut, you've had some success in other formula and this is your debut in SATCC. Your teammate was absent from the pre-season tests - how did the car feel?
Hero: Well, funny you should ask. The tech team of our 2 combined companies is the best in the championship. It sees great minds that have been battling each other for so long come together. And though this, we have created the perfect Bravado Banshee. I know, big words from a rookie team, but the hours our team puts into our work would probably equal 2 other teams combined. We've worked hard for this and I think the team deserves some praise.
As for my teammate not being present at the recent Pre-season test, we agreed it would only be necessary for one of the team to test the car. redlaserbm has spent the time preparing for the upcoming NOSCAR event.
The team is sponsored by two tobacco giants - has this been a smooth partnership, or has there been any tension?
Hero: Initially tensions were very high, as you'd expect. Both teams were reluctant to working with each other, despite both bosses being on-board. Either team would contradict the other and it would cause massive problems in testing. Eventually it all had to be sorted out with both Heads of Engineering. Long story short, Myself and Gamerer gave them both an ultimatum: Work together productively; or loose their jobs. This was probably the most straining time in the whole team's initiation. We knew we couldn't let this go on, but this was a very risky strategy, since we can no other back-up plan. This was a beyond risky move, putting the whole success of the team on the line. Thankfully it paid off, and they agreed to commit to each other's work. Resentment very slowly grew into friendship between the two teams, and as I said earlier, the combined force has made us a great car.
Bezerka - like Smiffy, you've joined the SATCC and PC side from consoles, and are partnered with a former champion. How are you adjusting to the environment so far?
Bezerka:
The V12 Schafter is a new car for SATCC - how do you find driving it? Your teammate is certainly happy.
Bezerka:
Now, to doompenguin. Reigning Season 3 champion, driving a Carbonizzare with a rookie teammate. How confident are you in defending your title, something no champion has done yet?
doom: Everything I do is for the glory of the Islamic Caliphate of Croydon
Ok then... Your title was decided in an abbreviate season that you were likely to dominate in. How much of that do you think was skill, and how much was the car?
doom:
Thank you all for your time.

Um, it's the non-shared section one. So if No_Harm did that version, then yes it's correct.
I can't access the R*SC website at all at work so I mean to edit the OP with SC links and can't do it. I'll do it tonight when I get home.
Thanks St0cking, good pickup.
EDIT: If someone can give me the HTML link, not a link shortcut, I should be able to copy/paste that into the OP.

Cloud Sports - breaking exclusive CLOUD SPORTS EXCLUSIVE - MERRYWEATHER WITHDRAWS SPONSORSHIP] by Allen JamesLOS SANTOS, SA: Molly Schultz, General Counsel for Devin Weston Holdings Inc, left the Los Santos courthouse after her successful injunction against Merryweather Security (LCN:MER) for its sponsorship of racing team Merryweather Racing. Molly Schultz. Photo credit: Beverly FeltonSchultz, flanked by Chief Investment Officer Ray Navarro and Head of Research, George Rucker, told the media that Devin Weston Holdings was placed in a conflicted position by the team. "It's a very simple case. Mr Weston, a noted car enthusiast, has sponsored a team for inclusion in motor racing in San Andreas. Mr Weston is also a significant shareholder in Merryweather. Merryweather's venture into car racing gives rise to a conflict of interest as Mr Weston expects a high return on equity on his investments. He cannot achieve that when one of his investments, Merryweather Security, is actively working against us. Since Mr Weston's passion for cars is widely known, the court wisely agreed that Merryweather could not sponsor a racing team." Dark clouds ahead? The news will no doubt be a concern to team leader Oh_Darn . Oh_Darn left British team Progen (who again partnered with Pfister this season to provide engineering expertise to the Comet car), to lead the Merryweather effort after reportedly being frustrated that despite winning titles and races for the British team he was not a majority shareholder. This has lead to suggestions of conflict with the team and its drivers, which the team dismisses completely. "I think that's just the media looking to create a story for the hell of it," said team principal Dennis Ron in May of 2016. "We encouraged him to go, to do this for himself. I wouldn't be comfortable keeping someone here when they'd told me previously they wanted to spread their wings. We had a good run, we ended on a high note... there's no issues here." Oh_Darn was in fact seen talking to Pfister driver Endersai over lunch at the Richman Hotel. The Dutchman was earlier reported as seeking his seat back at Progen - a rumour Endersai dismissed. "What? No. He had an idea this was coming and wanted advice mate." When pressed on what that advice looked like, the Australian said "I just said to consider putting his own money up to buy the team out and then find a sponsor. He's a quick driver, very quick, and that is what sponsors want. He just has to be prepared to drop a few million." Advice Darn heeded apparently - our source at the FIA confirmed the team will continue to race as a private entry, team sponsor pending! As to the identity of that sponsor - the current rumour is it might be bottled water giant Rainé, after Oh_Darn was spotted with a "WATERUDOIN" licence plate on his car. Insiders suggest this in unlikely, but asking what water is doing is a very strange question indeed!
