I am loving this creator, it is amazing, it is just like using the mod menu again, the precision I can move stuff about in is great. It is a shame about the stunt race thing, but i make most of my tracks either to be played standard or GTA mod, rarely do i intend both to be used. The sad thing about the standard/GTA race story is, that from now on you have to check every single track before using it in playlists where players don't have a specific car/car category, otherwise they'll be stuck with stock vehicles. I know this isn't a big issue, but still.

Yes. The old creator was good enough. You could vertically line a prop and place it. Now it just bumps up and this forces you to use the advanced options which are great and precise but consume a much bigger amount of time. Sure we'll find new ways of doing things but that doesn't mean that we can't bitch about the update. It looks great at first glance but in reality it's actually quite shitty. The thing that we'll find a new way doesn't mean I have to keep my mouth shut. This kindy attitude kills productivity. That is so not true. I'm bitching about it but that doesn't mean I will stop creating tracks. Of course I will keep making tracks despite the fact that I don't like some things in the creator. The point is that nothing has ever been achieved by sitting on your ass keeping your mouth shut. If you want something to improve, to change you have to express your opinion about it. Sure I'm not one of those believers who think that Rockstar developers read our forums but if there was a slight chance that by speaking up I could make a change I will always speak up. As you said, we've always found a way and we'll find it again. I just want to express how I feel about the change and why some things are not necessarily better.

All I guess we can say is to any creators making stunt races, make them GTA for pit lanes and spawning cars.

While i think the new creator is the reason i will not get bored of that game until GTA VI releases, plus i will learn some IRL tracks i am sure some people will recreate, which will help me in other racing games, i am a little scared of that GTA only thing for pitstops. I mean i love the pitstop trick but now we will have to race those tracks ONLY with people we trust for obvious reasons. Because the only thing is needed for things to go wrong is that one idiot. Tested already about 50 random tracks by searching new ones in social club, only one is what i was exactly expecting. That one : socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/pc/jobs/job/WYOfughtJkutICPCpIUzpgPS. I hope people dont use blue/pink/purple colors, but only dark ones like grey

Is it just in my case or do you get the stunt race checkpoint sounds in normal races you create? I have them classified under "Land Race", I can choose whichever game mode I want (GTA, Standard, Non-Contact) but when the race starts there are these annoying stunt sounds. Just out of curiosity, have you actually tried to build anything in the new creator, Benimi ? I mean actually build something, not just slap a bunch of props down to see how it works. linkOther than the game died on me 2 times, and lost me a lot of progess, I like it. The advenced mode is great.

I haven't played the game yet, but I'm looking forward to the new entourage game mode. I really liked cops and crooks in GTA 4 and hope it's somewhat similar. What's your opinion on this?

(We have an another bike with KERS, but still poitless for 2 vechicles, which are useless anyway.) I use the vindicator for every bike race! It's very much fun to drive

There's no vehicles so you just run to the destination instead of driving. The bodyguards and target have much better weapons and are overpowered. Had a bit of fun with it earlier but it's nothing to write home about.

I made a testing track that's not perfect; it's hard to actually align the track at some points so I had to remap the XYZ coordinates instead of snapping. But, it's the kind of layout I want to see more of.
(can't link to R*SC at work, but it will be under my profile.)
OvivoJR redid his Montreal track. It might be the greatest track ever.

I'll go ahead, and say it. Completly flat tracks with the new props will be one-sided/boring. To make tracks unique, you'll need elevation changes.
I'll put up a "tutorial" to the content creator thread, how to make more sudden, but at the same time smooth positive elevation changes, as soon as I got close to paint.
(It really isn't a tutorial, just a way to make regular curves only using straights.)
