It would be nice to join, to race and learn new tracks. Also non-contact would be cool cause my lagging issues (I presume in n-c race that causes less problems to fellow racers.) I already send a friend request.

Well i wish I could join this but its during my class. Anyway just here with a friendly reminder that pace != race craft and that being fast isnt necessarily being good. Knowing how to adapt and how to drive on the track with others around and not have accidents is far more important. Sure if you dont have pace (like myslef) you wont be able to battle with people for long as they will often just drive away but at least you wont threaten race and with strong race craft you could find a way around them and be able to defend for multiple laps. My idea would be to alternate every day between contact and non-contact to just have some variety, right now if i remember correctly JimmyFantastic will do the same playlist every day so that would at least change things up a bit. What I'm thinking is: Different playlist every week. Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri will be hotlapping a 9/10 track playlist, Wed will just be one or two long tracks(like 10 laps of North Loop, 10 Laps of Blaine County 24h). Saturday I'll do Welcome to NoDo playlist, and Sunday I'll host the playlist we have been hotlapping as races with contact on.

I want to apologize. I was sure that imfishy would pick a faster car. I should've picked comet/verlierer as well.

Was kind of amusing how spread out we ended up on that first race. It did help to learn these tracks although I'm still struggling to find those extra seconds and not sure on what the best line is in a few places. Missed the results screen so not sure how far off the pace I was on the North Loop. Not sure what others think but I think it might have been better to do two 5 lap races on each track so that the second race is theoretically a lot closer.
Will most likely be around again on Friday.

No problem Hertz . I guess any fast guys can join but may want to handicap themelves. Yah positivetension two 5 lap races could definitely be an option in future. Here are the times from North Loop: nodo.freeforums.net/post/199064/threadThere were some communication issues so I guess I'll get on teamspeak in the lobby beforehand in future. Updated the OP with some more info.

Thanks! Will be a useful comparison for next time I'm on that track. I'm fine with using teamspeak and it'll make it easier if people want to swap cars.

Pro tip, don't use a random car you've never driven (Bestia GTS) for a 50+ minute race. Your going to have a bad time mmmkay. Using TS definitely helps in coordinating things and it's there anyways might as well make use of it . I know myself, fishy, brain, and gunny were enjoying ourselves during that adventure on north loop. Just a chill hangout time with occasional whoopsy noises.

My name isn't actually Dave. I've just been using this handle long enough that I will answer to it.

I guess I won't be handicapping at all if I join these. My best lap of the North Loop in a Massacro is 5:28 right now

It felt good though, knowing a few others than myself actually made big mistakes. Yeah as I told you yesterday I´m very much not used to speaking English, been so long since I used Teamspeak or other similar programs. Could talk much more yesterday though due to fixing TS and game sounds more to my liking, which got me a bit more confident I was being heard. However I should buy myself a new headset soon because my current has been acting mutemaster many times in the past. Thanks for the feedback on my dock race by the way. I realised after the fact I never needed to make it so narrow, it being a non contact race. Could just get rid of some barriers completely. Anyway, good times.

Started looking at the hotlap spreadsheet a bit and there are quite a few blank verified tracks, any interest in throwing those in for tomorrow Jimmy? (Los Santos GP Classic, Seed Circuit, Vinewood Ring and so on)

Absolutely. Well not tomorrow, but I want to use the tracks from the NoDo Hotlap spreadsheet and gradually fill it up. If people can try to screenshot the results as we go and post them up that would be ideal Next week's playlist will definitely include some of those tracks, and eventually we can start racing the different classes too.
