The updated LSGP was in the first playlist. I put the classic in here due to the fact that it's on the spreadsheet and there weren't many times for it. Could replace it with Bahrain International though.

Maybe one or two tracks could be switched every so often like adding in the Bahrain track and maybe some of the Grotti ones so there is a mix of familiar and new tracks each time.

Yah. I like measuring my (slow) progress so some will remain constant I think but definitely will change it up. Will definitely do more classes but thinking on how to do it.

From Grotti F1 I'd recommend the Grotti F1 Peckerwood, I think it's a great track and is still frequently used

After taking some part in these playlists, these are opinions of someone who's still painfully slow:
if you can't really memorize the track and can't get the flow from crashing, you will just be bitter and frustrated. I suggest doing shorter tracks. If you are talking about Grotti F1 then Zancudochamps is a good track to replace North Loop. I definitely couldn't put a 5:00 lap together on NL when I was crashing everywhere and doing long laps really didn't help.
I also suggest using more difficult cars on shorter tracks to learn control. Feltzer Massacro and Jester are incredibly stable cars -- driving a 9f or comet on a short track can be a good way to start, I think.

Thanks. I think I will buy the Comet because it looks better.

I find the longer tracks extremely frustrating but I want to learn them eventually and by doing them on a Wednesday and Wednesday only ppl can try them if they want and ignore them if they want. I can see the point of learning in a harder car but again comes the trade off with frustration. I think Sports is a good class for this though as there are so many cars in it.

BTW, in the video, Smithy finished North Loop with a lap time of 4:47 min. Just wow !!! My only clean lap today was 21 sec slower.

You should do something like have Contact on at the weekends. Having non-contact will get boring quick for some people. This way they can learn some of the tracks and also learn how to properly race. Having non-contact on it's well an easy pass isn't it and you don't feel the same adrenaline rush than you do with 30 players in a full on contact race. I also think that having someone sitting up your hoop will make you try harder.
This is just a suggestion of course.

Non contact is nice but if you plan on doing serious events you will need to learn how to deal with others around you. Having someone right behind you will make you try harder yes. You will either do well under pressure or choke big time like me. But you also need to learn how to control the pressure and nerves in these situations. Also very important when you are following someone is knowing when and where it is safe to try to overtake is the most important thing to learn IMO. Can't count how many times my race has been ruined by someone going for a risky pass and takes us both out. Or is right behind you going into a tight turn and they don't react fast enough when you brake and send you flying. But there is nothing like the rush you get when you nail the corner perfect and go flying past the guy in front as he goes a little wide. I am putting together a Sports car event soon and I hope you guys will join. Nothing too serious, just a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon. Redoing Blaine county 24 with stunt props and NO sticky tires. So far in testing it is much faster than the original. (8 seconds or so) LOL I think because I am not worried about the sticky tires I can take the corners tighter and faster.

Although I joined NoDo for contact racing, I will not be turning on contact for a while. The reason is, as I alluded to in the op, that I'm far too slow. I did the welcome to nodo playlist but they weren't contact races for me, it was just driving around an unfamiliar track trying not to spoil the contact race that everyone else was having. I'm doing this for myself to learn to drive not to learn to race. I just thought it would be cool for fellow beginners (and anyone else) to join in and make it more social.

If you think you are too slow then I might pop into a race with you this evening. I think i'm a decent racer. I am getting a lot more used to racing in full servers (like the Weekday Playlist) which is around 30 people each day. At the start I would say I was pretty bad against these guys (still thinking I was a decent racer at the time) but now after playing with them and getting that buzz when you pass someone like what Nick420Guy I am starting to actually finish races now BTW I'm not a try hard or anything like that. I enjoy coming into races and having good fun/driving/racing or whatever. I do normally try go for a fastest lap for myself as it's good to try beat your own record but if I see someone falling behind I will wait on them near the finish so at they at least finish the race as well.

I would be in favour of having some contact races. I guess it would be best on the tracks people are reasonably familiar with as it isn't much fun accidentally taking someone out because you didn't realise what the next turn was like.
