17) Curb boosting/surfing - the practice of attaining speed boosts by mounting a curb or similar multiple times - is banned. As a general rule, curb boosting is one curb = one boost.
a. On tracks where the surface is mostly or exclusively Stunt Prop pieces (i.e. Monza, Pillbox Hill GP), the race organisers will provide guidance around exceptions before the race. This guidance will be specific to the circuit.
... Does that mean curb boosting (=going over 1 curb on purpouse/off the racing line) is forbidden or only curb surfing?

That crash...
So I watched it on Ovivo's replay; I had way more speed than the three cars ahead of me coming out of the hairpin and you can see I've nowhere to go with it, so I'm off position coming into the chicane. On my screen, Ovivo PIT manoeuvred me; obviously for Ovivo and Mich I turned in (they're closer together, makes sense). Then I spun into Mich and he gets punted so hard.
lag, PLS.
All in all, not a perfect test - it was clear we didn't practice. And we shouldn't argue about who hit whom; you can see from the Ovivo/Ender/Mich clusterfuck that nobody gets salty, and they're aware what happens on one screen isn't the same as what happens on another. That's key; if someone says they took you out, to them - maybe they did. The key attribute is respect.
For Progen - we expected to do well at Chaps, and find Fever Pitch a struggle and it played out. There were so many moments where I had a lot more speed than cars but couldn't risk a lag pass so I didn't. Iceman obviously showed pace wise that when lag isn't a factor we've got what we need. All in all the test confirmed my suspicions.
A few things:
SAFETY CAR: Um, easiest way to say it is "Slow. The Fuck. Down." You should be going at the pace traffic drives at in Los Santos if you're in P1, 2 and 3 so that people catch up quickly. You were basically going race pace until the pits then slowing down, which isn't ok. If we need to close the pits under SC to make sure people's speed is correct, we will.
OVERALL PACE: The cars performed as expected and it felt like the battles were much, much tighter than they were under old SATCC cars. Was that anyone else's impression?

Pace wise I think all the cars are very close. I enjoyed the battles I had. I raced like shit on Fever Pitch but still had fun.

Don't think anyone saw my crash on Chaps, on the bridge bit I hit the inside and then went flying off the other side landing in the ditch. Main lesson learned from the practice was to check out where the pits are on each track. Not sure what happened on Fever pitch as I was over a second off what I had managed in a brief practice.
