We doing something special last race? spray champagne or so? Stolen from the SAGTC rules: Shooting flares at a driver on the post-race podium and setting them alight, whilst hilarious, is not an “acceptable substitute for champagne”. To be honest I never understood why endersai put this rule in place for SAGTC; instead of doing the smart thing and inquiring why it's in place for his event so we can avoid similar troubles in this one I feel like we should explicitly declare flares to be an acceptable substitute for champagne for this event so we can give our championship winner Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) the celebration he's rightfully earned  . |

Benimi damn. Thanks for letting me know. To everyone else: The committee is having some difficulty coming to a uniform conclusion on all the incidents from race 6. We still should be able to get official results out with ample time before race 7, I'm just not sure exactly when. There also appears to be a bug preventing hosts from changing race settings to raining or current. Regardless of whether this bug is fixed in time for race 7, we will now run it in clear conditions.

It's the doompenguin rule. is there some context I'm missing? My best guess is that doom kept pulling out his flare gun and shooting at the people on the podium in one of the early seasons. It sounds like a very doom thing to do. |

Hi guys! First off, again an apology to participants waiting on official race 6 results, we're still in the process of discussing certain key incidents, we're working as diligent as we can on the matter, stay patient. In the mean time: Rule changes for race 7The pit procedure is being modified for race 7 as a test for what may be used in season 2. The pits in Lifeinvader have been modified to include both a fast lane and slow lane. Effective for race 7 are the following changes to pit procedure: -Participants who pit before halfway must use the slow lane (the left-most lane) -Participants who pit after halfway may use the fast lane (the right-most lane) -For clarity, the race is at its halfway mark when the leader of the race starts lap 21 of 41. -The pit watcher will be instructed to take measures to ensure participants use the correct pit lane during the race There are some known issues right now with the event host doing a not so great job of placing some of the slowdown strips, that will be rectified shortly. EDIT: The make-up day will NOT be used in this event. piguy3141 that means there won't be any conflicts between this event and your event. |
