Another thing i'd like to stress. If you're in front of someone and battling, approaching the drs-line, do NOT be the asshole purpeously slowing down to let the guy overtake you before the line so that you get the drs instead of him. That defeats the purpose of the drs-system.

Assuming that the person in front of you is on the same lap and the DRS watcher fails to call you out, are you allowed to use the race display to make the judgement of whether or not it's 1.5 or 2 seconds? Like, that which tells you how far the person(s) in front and back of you are.

Psst... Anyone planning on streaming this? I would love to watch! I might be trying to do so, depending on how much of my framerate gets sucked. Will test it soon

Like, that which tells you how far the person(s) in front and back of you are. I'm not sure where i placed the checkpoints around that area. I assume i placed one at the apex of the corner right after the drs-line. If you're on the same checkpoint there AFTER the drsline, i suppose it could somewhat work to use that as reference. I say use it if it's an emergency and if you can be sure you were within 2sec when crossing the line. Don't do it to double-check a DRS-Master decision though. What he says is what you do, unless you notice he made some very obvious mistake like calling out the wrong name. There's noone actually checking if people follow the drs-masters permissions though, so a lot in this event will rely on trusting your fellow drivers anyways

Feel free to give my spot to a reserve sad to hear that, get better soon. Seeing as ramka hasn't been online in 17hours and it's not long until the event starts, I'll be offering the spot to any reserve that wants it and that can be sure to make it. I'd love to see fab. ICEMAN or Sarah grab that spot as they're on somewhat the same toppace as michiski.

If you need to get off the curbline, i.e. because of the bush, to overtake you can get back on the line afterwards. you're pretty much free to use it or not use it for this straight as you wish. And the guy you overtook can't use the drsline if he didn't get permission, no.

(I'm just posting here because it's annoying to participate in an event but not to have the thread in the participated pop-up.)
