Seems like mission payouts have changed, can enyone confirm this? I dont have access to my PS3 right now.
I've read that many of the popular ones like RR and Potshot have been decreased while some other missions like A titan of job and dry docking have been buffed, this would make for a real good and varied mission grind.

Yep, based on difficulty and time duration of the mission the payouts have changed. Rooftop Rumble is now like a meager $11K on hard.

If you do a mission with 3 other people you get 30% increase in pay.

Yes. Looking at the reddit thread on this, longer and harder missions with more people will pay out better. The Los Santos Connection: Hard: 3 people: 20-26k 2800-3800 rp. Extradition: Hard: Solo: 18.1-18.9k 3100-3400 rp Judging The Jury: Hard: Solo: $21.9k 3578 rp www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheftAutoV/comments/2dz59v/new_mission_payout_thread/see that thread, they have a running list. The payouts do not seem to be set like they were, it depends on length of mission, how many players, difficulty etc... different people are getting different results depending on these factors.

Just to let everyone know, it seems the longer you take on a mission the more money you're going to get from it. Last night I went through some missions with parksguard, Lupacia💕, and ♛ZeNzI23. Rooftop Rumble still seems to be the best route to go. Just do your usual thing but arrive at Martin Madrazo's and wait, roughly, about 8 or so minutes before walking into the marker and completing the mission. It netted each of us roughly $23,000. The same applies to Crystal Clear Out III. Instead of doing the Buzzard method, run from site to site and just shoot everyone. It got us, if I remember correctly, about $17,500. Oh, finally (in my opinion), Potshot doesn't even seem worth doing anymore. Well, unless you wait 5 minutes at Trevor's before you drop off the van. I did the mission normally and got ... $3000. -_- Now, there is a certain cutoff time for exactly how much money you're going to make in a mission. For example, you cannot do Rooftop Rumble and just run around for an hour doing nothing, arrive at Madrazo's, and get $100,000ish. There's a cut off point for exactly how much money you can make in a mission, I'm just not sure of the exact time. I'll admit, I did not figure this out on my own. See this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dtXo8ibYkA. And to quote GreyleafGamer's one comment: "It seems as if payout is somehow tied to how long the mission takes you to do it. I just ran rooftop rumble twice...the first time, I sped through it in a couple of minutes and got $8440 and 1965 RP. The second time, I did the exact same thing, but stood outside of Madrazzo's driveway for 2 minutes before completing the mission and got $13,500 and 2798RP. "

Although I had already figured that out just by reading the patch notes and hearing people getting different amounts per mission. It will be interesting to see what he says in a few days after testing. My thoughts? There is probably a few missions that are better than others still but Im guessing this is R*'s answer to balancing the missions. Why do this? So people dont play the same missions over and over and just play the game for fun for a change. In a way its not all bad. Racing truly seems to be the best way to make money now if you are good. You can have fun and at the same time make a good amount of money in a short period of time. Other than that you can do the armoured truck loops (which I have seen post patch 1.16) but that gets old really fast.

My favourite mission LS Connection finally got the buff it deserved, so much money from it, I meaen most missions now gieve less than 15k but others now kick it up to 20k+ when they're challenging, a smart move on rockstar's part, though making money really is harder now...
But yeah there are a lot or parameters to increase the money you get from the base nerf and buffing the missions have recieved

Yeah, the longer missions are the way to go now. Got over 21k from LSC the other night.

Just tried CantDrive55Andy method of waiting on RR but with two people and got almost $20k. I just did a lap of north loop to pass time.

Honestly I'd rather do more missions quickly than sit in the same mission. All about variety. Although last night I learnt I should probably leave my Buzzard out of most missions (especially with crew members who know what they're doing).
