Banning the dominator is stupid. It's a proper muscle car that's hard to handle. The blade should be banned as it's the training wheels of the muscle class.Other than that I agree with the rest, except for sedans which I don't think is necessary. EDIT:And no car should be banned anyway. If people want to use a car let them use it.If you're hosting an event/lobby ban whatever you want but no way would should there be a crew wide ban. Every Sedan race is usually full lobby all using the Schafter. There are so many good looking and nice to drive Sedan's that simply can't be used because of how dominant the Schafter is. I'm sure when the fully modded testing is published this will back up what I'm saying. This^^ I tried to compete with my Tailgaitor in a few crew races, but there is totally no chance for a win when you arent going for a schafter. But I think banning cars isnt a good choice, except for the Sports class. Without the Elegy this class is wide opened, so you can use Feltzer, Massacro, Jester, Comet, 9F, even a carbonizarre and a coquette can compete, if driven good.

Yeah I agree with this, I don't think any car should be banned, people should be allowed to use whatever they want. It's nice to see that the Elegy is quite rare to see in races with NoDo's now. I usually see a mixture of Feltzer's and Massacro's with the odd Elegy and Jester.

It may have grip for days, but it is unforgiving should you lose control of it. I can completely get behind the schafter not being used. I wanna see the fugitive! It is such a pretty car. The same goes for the zentorno. Supers would be much more interesting without it because the turismo and entity are close to each other in lap times and have very different strengths.

I think the only reason I save my Zentorno for playlists and competitve races is the fact it's so widely used. Not to be hipster, but if it were people just going back to using something a little less ubiquitous especially on freeroam and go back to adders, I would probably use mine a lot more in and outside of races since it's a personal favorite.
But outside of that I use either my Entity since it's still really good, and occasionally to challenge myself a Cheetah on my main character, while on my secondary I only use a Turismo, since that's the only Super I have on that character.
---
My second character has only the top SUV in its class as the only performance vehicle there, every other one is second on the list, it really allow me to take things a little less seriously, have more fun and make things more challenging knowing that everything there won't give me any advantages. Example: First character's Sports cars: Elegy, Massacro, Feltzer, Jester, Coquette, Carbonaizzare. Second character's Sports cars: Comet, 9F, Surano, Sultan, Futo.
I never intended to make my charcter's seperate like that, but that's how it turned out and it works nicely like that.

But I like the blade :[ It looks nice and it handles like a drag car. No steering to speak of with a lot of power in a light package. It is actually fairly realistic to what it is trying to mimic. For me, the blade handles quite nicely. It maintains grip around the corners well, and kerbs don't destabilise it too much in my experience. Although, mine isn't fully upgraded yet...

I prefer the idea of a tier system in each class, based upon speed and lap time. We would have Tier 1, 2 & 3 or Class A, B & C, like in the older need for Speed for Speed titles from the 90's.
For instance it the sport class :
Class A : would be Massacro/Jester Racecars and stock, Feltzer, Elegy.
Class B : Coquette, Comet, Surano, Carbonizzare, Banshee, 9F
Class C :Buffalo S, Rapid GT, Furore GT, Kharmelion, Sultan.
Class D could be Schwartzer, Buffalo, Futo, Shyster, Penumbra.
I did this quickly, so it might not be perfectly balanced, but it's for the sake of an example at first. Also, some cars like the Sultan or the Coquette could be in mutliple classes. (C & B).
Then, all open class of course.
This would allow us to race more cars, by agreeing on one specific tier of vehicles, without having to ban any.

Problem would be enforcing this, and races with specific cars already happen in the Slack chat.

I made a thread on this recently, to split sports into Sports A and Sports B. As adamant as I am on my idea, even I realize that the many obvious positives are outweighted by the few but large possible negatives. Making a crew wide decision on splitting classes would be a logistical nightmare since people would have to buy the cars according to class, and it would have to be determined what class car would be used in the lobby. I wish we could split sports into A and B, or even your idea of A B C and D, but people would have to listen. While I think we have the ability to communicate the split and people could do it, theres always people that wont listen or arnt informed. Splitting classes/banning cars unfortunately are going to limited to pre organized events. All I know is that when I host events using the Sports class, I'm going by my Sports A/B categorization. And you can host yours according to your own ideas.

What was I thinking when I made this thread. Shocking decision. Nothing should be banned.

What was I thinking when I made this thread. Shocking decision. Nothing should be banned. If we did, we'd be turning into some of those other racing crews who make stupid decisions like what tyres should be used. The fact this is such a great racing crew is that we're not restrictive in that respect.

I think the ironic thing is that we're all for open vehicle choice and freedom to choose... but we all look down on the Sanchez to such a point it's practically banned. Seriously, I can't do one offroad race here without someone saying something along the lines of "No Sanchez fuckers" or openly attempting to take out a Sanchez user.

I've never looked down on a Sanchez, in fact, seen as I like to win races, it's the only Off-Road vehicle I use in races

If R* would give us a "Open" race class so we can pick any car it'd solve our problems as players could take to creator and lock vehicles.

Seriously, I can't do one offroad race here without someone saying something along the lines of "No Sanchez fuckers" or openly attempting to take out a Sanchez user. I think the Sanchez is a bit of a special case, being a bike. Not many people like racing bikes, but there are people who like racing cars like Biftas, Dune Buggies, and those. The only thing is that to win an offroad race, you really need a Sanchez so it just turns into a bike race. Off road races are incredibly rare anyways, I've probably only done a handful in my time in NODO.
