NODO Rocket League Doubles League (Completed)

Dunno if it was mentioned anywhere, but with one of the teams hailing from NA, there needs to be a clear view on server choices. Do we just use US-East for those matches, or swap between whatever server is best for them and whatever is best for Europeans in bo5 (e.g. 2 games on US-West, 2 games on EU and then idk for decider)

If not, get pezby to host it do you're both at the same disadvantage

Hello everyone! Its that time of the year. Its time for another NODO Rocket League... league!
I've tagged already signed up participants, past participants and whoever expressed interest last season. If any of you already said they are not interested... sorry I forgot, hopefully your time was not wasted by clicking at the tagged notification.

For anyone who hasn't signed up yet, I hope you will! All of you were great participants and it would be good to see you again. However, I request you to be atleast a bit active and try to organize your matches.

It would be preferable if you could do a match the same week I announce it. I will happily give you an extra week if you are on vacation or busy, but I don't want to give you extra time just because you were lazy, alright? If you forget once or twice, its fine. Life and events such as MCEC are making us all busy. But please, if you are actually not interested, just don't join and waste anyones time.
There are less matches in general though, so it shouldn't drag on like the last one.

So first off, I want to advertise our discord. You don't need to use its voice chat, but the text chat should be very useful in organizing with your opponents. You can also easily talk with any NRLL participant about anything. Most of you have me added on steam, so if you specifically need me, you already have good options.
Please join the discord if you can, it would be fantastic and hopefully more convenient than the forum messages.

Start of league and some rule changes/clarifications
So here's the deal: The first matches will be announced on 18.th September. I'd love to have more participants. Atleast 12 would be great to have.

The Cross Platform Problem (PC can ignore this)
Right now, it looks like I'll have to exclude a non PC console. So far it looks like its going to be Xbox. However, if you still looking for matches to play, don't worry! I'll make a mini tournament for you guys. It will be without the group stages with a double eliminations playoff. So I still encourage xbox users to 

Playoffs will have a small change
Instead of putting the groupstage losers in their own tournament, they will be joining the main brackets. The losers will play eachother first. The winner of the first loser bracket round will be against the loser of the first winners bracket round in the second losers brackets round.
If you didn't understand my stupid explanation, I will have a spreadsheet made soon.

Reserves
The reserve system has been changed. Reserves will only be used if a participant has left the league. Reserves will only be used to let the lonely participant continue to play in the league.
Or you can have a team specific reserve I guess, but who would do that?
I might change this rule to allow teams to use reserves (for one match only), but only if I get enough requests for a rule change.

Okay I think this is all. Other rules remain the same, I will have to change the original post to show these changes.

P.S to already signed up teams and people who are considering to join: I still need a name and colour from some of you! I'd love to have them soon.
