I hadnt considered car choice but agree the Futo would probably be the best choice. If any car is going to show results you would think it would be that one. I wouldnt put the video off too long either. The guy that posted that other video with the terrible test going up hill has over 600K views and only 130K subs because there are only 2 videos on the subject with any significant views. One is about drifting and the other is about off roading. Someone such as yourself who puts so much effort into their videos should be getting those views. Not some guy who went up a hill ten times. Not only do I feel its a video that is in your wheel house. Its a video that over 600K people wanted to see. With the help of the crew liking the video and a shoutout from shaggy I think you would be right next to that video in the search feed. Maybe you wont get 600K views but its the type of video thats going to draw in new subs and you deserve them! Ha. Wheel house. But yeah I get what you're saying, cheers I'll get on it as soon as I can though. Is there anything in the game code that suggests that different tires make a difference? Not that anyone has been able to find, but nobody has really been able to find very much to do with LSC mods in the game code at all.

There is no way to have a controlled test as much as people try. Oh and no offense Brough you only human. I've seen some evidence from people doing testing that says Offroad wheels may have some effect off road but that is still debatable. Also until we find in the code for sure that there is a difference it's a mute point. What matters is how well you can drive the vehicle you choose with the mods you choose!

Idk if you have seen a baseball game or not but your "wheelhouse" is your sweet spot. when you are at bat. The spot where you are most likely to hit a homerun (hit the ball out of the park scoring an automatic point for your team) Its also used commonly just to mean "in your area of expertise" but I guess you figured that out by now

I love the futo, and that's a good idea. I keep it for fun and fully upgraded with the stock tires. It seems they're more slippy to me for drifting around.

I just found it funny that was the term you used given the topic

How would it be possible to test how they perform around corners any better than running them around a track? Maybe a created track with nothing but one or two corners for testing?

I hot lap the living hell out of cutting cornors. I gave all the wheels a shot. All got 30 laps in the Zentorno. I actually got the best time with offroad by a 7 hundredths of a second. Off road wheels ran a 52.83 and lowrider wheels 52.9 around cc with the line I did. Everything else were still in the 53's. The part that blew me away was I had a break through a week ago with the high end wheels with a 53.202 & destroyed it within 30 laps with two wheels types. So until I am proven wrong I'm going to be superstitious that for me offroad wheels are the best. Also, I used the same wheels as Vallyeve, basically the most expensive for each wheel type. So now we have more results but no solid answer other than the goofy dollar wheel might be better.

Unless these tires improve my times by at least an entire second, I'm going to stick with what I have. The aesthetic is more important to me than going ever so slightly faster.

When I raced with them they FELT the most grippy, but the lap times never showed. At least I'm not the only one noticing a difference. I know some racers feel pretty strongly about wheels affecting their cars. Hot lappers just need to know this kind of stuff. Plus if you're OCD like I am, you want the best performance you can get. Good luck with the off-road tires. That sounds like a good theory to me.

I'll be a monkeys uncle before I put Dollar sign Rims on any of my cars. If they bring out a cool Britania dlc then I might put Pound sign rims on and blast round listening to 25p on radio los santos.
You can find me in da club................

So Broughy admitted that tires affect grip in his video. Personally I believe the Carbonizzare is a completely different car when you put tuner tires on it. It seems as though tires effect cars with handling problems more dramatically, as for good handling cars there isn't much difference. I think the only way to settle this would be to test the top 5 sports cars with tuner tires and see if there is a difference in placement. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIBk7XZpeh

I got a "video does not exist" error when I followed the link you provided.

This is the video you want: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIBk7XZpeh8And I said custom tyres may have had an effect, but that it wouldn't affect race results either way. I didn't test different tyre types and more thorough testing would need to be done in any event.
