If yes: no, it wasn't like that, it was way worse, and had nothing to do with my CPU. If this is something more recent, I have no idea what are you talking about.

In AMD you can go in a specific profile of a game for lock the framerate to X fps, without vsync on. If you still having problems, disable Vsync, download and try MSI Afterburner (it will install RTSS as well). There you have a option in Afterburner for limit your fps without any kind of problem, remember that the limit in afterburner will be apply to any game, you can enable/disable it in less than 5 seconds. Keep us updated.

AMD limiter didn't work, tried that ages ago, Riva Tuner seems to do the trick, the fans don't get loud in most areas of the game (which was an issue with uncapped fps/AMD limit) and more importantly I don't have any stuttering on less demanding parts of the map. In the video above it was near unplayable on the airport, this isn't the case anymore. Thank you very much.

Hey guys, I dont want to make a new thread for it, but its not exaclty a PC performance thing: Some of you have said they jump back to desktop while driving/playing GTA Online. This happend to me too since sunday. Thanks to the CS:GO subreddit ( here), where alot of people had the same problem, I found the solution to solve it for my problem: Some of you might have seen a cmd console for a very short time (<<1 sec) and this can happen because of a lot of things, but the majority of people have this problem due to Microsoft Office 365, which has some wired updating routine. To get rid of this, go to Task Scheduler > Microsoft > Office > Right click "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration" > Disable. To open the Task Scheduler in Windows 10 or Windows 8.1, just search for it in the Windows search function. But be aware, that the task sheduler is not a tool for kids, do not jump arround and disable other tasks left and right, as that can harm your system really bad. If this does not solve the problem for you (it did for me), there is a high chance another service or programm on your PC uses the console to engage updates but the program/service fails doing so. If you buy your PC with preinstalled Windows, PC companies tend to install all kind of trash software "for you" and these software, if never removed, can get problematic, for example if they want to update, but the developers have stopped all support for the software. The easiest way to fix this is still annoying: Use a screencapture programm and film your desktop. When the cmd window appears for a blink of an eye, use the footage to see what the cmd window says, often times it will give you a folder and tells you, what went wrong. Look into the location, identify the programm that is doing this, kill it. And one more source of problems can by adware and other deseases your PC might have. To be atleast aware of an infection, I recommand mandatory use of adware cleaner, malwarebytes antimalware and a decent virus detection software of your choice from time to time. *Drops Mic* Edit: *Takes Mic back*: Apperantly even people without Office 365 report that they have the exact same problem and solved it by the exact same way, deactivating this task in the task sheduler.

Just was messing up with my gta 5 graphic settings again and found the good settings for a pretty good picture in terms of racing without loosing any fps (NOTE: I'm playing on 60 fps lock by RivaTuner) on mine old gtx 760. I would like to share this with people and if you are going to be have some questions - feel free to ask. P.S. Personally, I don't like FXAA, but you can turn it on as well if you likes it. And same with the Shadow Quality, but it's not really useful for racing IMO. I didn't test Particles Quality on High, so can't tell anything about it, all what I know this makes explosions and other effects gain increased volume and detail. If you are still will be having some fps drops, try to lower the Texture Quality to just High, there will be no a big minor changes in terms of the picture looking. With the Water Quality there is nothing to work, because it eats your fps really really slightly and on Normal water looks badly, but you may lower it if you want to. NOTE: You should have pretty middle system for those settings, my system is three and a half years old. My PC Specs on which one I was testing all of this: CPU - QuadCore Intel Core i7-4770, 3900 MHz (39 x 100) Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H GPU - Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 4GB WINDFORCE RAM - 16 GB (8x2) Kingston KHX16C9K2/16 DDR3-1600 CL9 240-Pin DIMM 1Kit P.S. GTA installed on the HDD and I didn't change my GTA 5 document "settings" file according to the bladecruiser guide on the 1 page of this thread. EDIT: Sorry guys, I messed up with one setting - In the Nvidia Control Panel change the Antialiasing - transparency from " 8x SSAA" to just " MSAA". It should be eat less resources and provide better image quality.
