Race #5 - Durella Grand Prix
End of the event
Main InformationThe results are in for the 5th and final race of the Altmuligmann Cup 2016! The long, hard and enduring race of Durella Grand Prix really pushed everyone to their limits with high speed turns, hairpins, chicanes and "a few" bumps. PointsTeam Points
The point distribution this race was pretty close, similar to the 3rd race on Jetsam Circuit. But there'll always be someone who gains more points, and this time around it was Xero Gas Racing taking their first team win with 42 points. But shortly followed by JiffiRacing with 36 points and two teams with 32 points which was Ron Racing and Templar Motorsports. Congratulations for your podium finishes. Team Podium#1: Templar Motorsports#2: RON Racing #3: PRB Motorsports Solo PointsCongratulations to _ShediM_ (GT1), Eva (GT2) and thekillswitchhh (GT3) for finishing in 1st position!. Fastest lap in each GT goes to _ShediM_ (GT1: 3:45.539), Eva (GT2: 3:49.655) and thekillswitchhh (GT3: 4:04.599)

Both the solo championship and team championship were extremely close before the 5th race, and they still are even after the last race. But ultimately there will always be a winner. Closing WordsI want to thank everyone participating, equally to the new as much as veterans in NoDo. It was a big learning experience to me personally, both in the way as an event host and participant since I've done neither before this event.

So that was it. I want to thank everyone that was racing in this event. I've learned a lot and I had a really fun time racing you guys. Some of you may or may not think I'm a hacker or abuser of curb boosting etc. (Ahum Orchan  ) No I'm joking, I had some nice battles with you and I hope to see you again soon!! Even though I had issues with every track in this event, I still want to thank you, Orchan, for hosting it and putting up with my nagging. Also, Good job team Jiffiracing =D Unfortunately missed the podium due to no-shows in the 4th race, but every team had their troubles. 4th place is still something to be proud of. I hope to see you two in future series =) -Eva |
