When I first joined the crew I was racing with two other crew members I went to pass one of them back I had the inside line and he just spun out. On my screen I didn't hit him I apologised anyway and waited a few corners later when I realised I must have hit him and after the race he switched on his mic to confirm i did hit him. Can't remember the race result but all was well at the end Good on you then. Thats the way it should be done. i miss crashing into you trow. Highlight of the gta day normally.

Before I teamed up with NoDo racing (which was last night) I never drove with any actual good clean drivers so therefore,I never got a stupid lag message. But I have been riding someone rear bumper a few times and they just spin. Its definitely the right thing to do when you let the guy you "spun" pass by. When in Broughys situation when youre waiting and other drivers are right around the corner, yes I go ahead and take the win. Its kinda sad because that's how 2 drivers become enemies. My ps3 is slow AF so there's no time between races to say anything so I try to be even cleaner the next race by keeping even more distance between them just to not spook them into thinking im a dirty driver or potential lag. But sometimes they play clean too, until the last corner and their revenge kicks in. Pretty shitty situation but..like Broughy says, its all situational and u just kinda gotta take that. Oh well. I don't care when it comes to other drivers that I know drive dirty. I don't Try to take them out if they're leading, but my level of respect goes down. If were on a straight, I know that if I pass I'll get screwed over, so I either try to pass very quickly, or just take them out. 0 fucks given. I don't think you should be respectful to disrespectful people. 9 times out of 10, you gon get fucked if you try and treat like NoDo drivers.

Yeah when you are racing against randoms that shit is going to happen the majority of the time. Hopefully now you will get to enjoy the cleaner side of gta racing. Welcome to NoDo!

Thank you Trowa! I'm definitely glad to be apart of such a great, nonchalant community.

I think we should use the Non-contact Option for a rule too when racing with crew members, 'cause there'll always be people with bad internet connections causing "extreme" lag. Sure taking people out intentionally is not ok but maybe it isn't even the competitors fault so use non compact to prevent those miss-understandings.

Its just hotlapping. There is no passing and no race craft used because you can't attack or defend. You might as well just race on your own.

But it still seems more competitive than just comparing lap times. And there won't be such frustrating moments mentioned before. Your right non-contact as a rule is useless I'm sorry for that dumb idea, but for me for example it is almost impossible to drive clean with this stone age connection I got, and I really don't want to ruin the race of my competitors.

I was quite upset when Broughy did that, but it happens and I'd rather not hold a grudge against anyone in our crew

It really depends on the individual connection between you and the respective opponents. I can ride one's bumper with an inch long gap with no problems, then hit the other from two meters' distance. Of course if people tell you that your car is all over the place, lagging, flying, teleporting, hitting everything, then you should consider doing something with your connection. Twilicane That Broughy guy is a scumbag, no debate about that.

it is not always possible to tell the difference between lag touch or other driver error. Unless you are EderForty. His internet is made up of twigs and rocks apparently xD So remember, fellow NODOs, if I hit you in a race it is always because of lagg, I never make mistakes on track Jokes aside, I agree that we should try to wait if we or our lagg causes someone to crash. I have been experiencing severe lagg lately and try to keep an eye on people spinning "magically" (although as Parksguard says, sometimes lagg will affect people who is directly behind you, and this situations are extremely difficult to see, if not impossible). However, there is people who will complain after every touch, even if it did not cause a crash. We all need to learn that we can't demand/expect other people to always wait when they hit us. Sometimes we will be hit by another laggy car and nobody else will even notice, other times it will be because several cars are involved. Broughy himself chooses not to wait if doing so means losing several positions, not only in the video at the OP but in other videos as well. If someone does that to me I would be happy with an explanation/apology after the race, but others rage immediately and don't even give a chance for the other driver to explain. Finally, on my lagg: I am sorry. I really am. Nobody would be happier than me if I could find a way to solve it. I am trying to work out why this is happening now, when it didn't happen some time ago (at least at the same level). Please bear with me while it lasts, or consider doing some non-contact races from time to time if this keeps being annoying. I know the feels man. My internet has like 1.7 mbps racing up in the hills of Vinewood, people would drive directly off cliffs. So for a whole 2 seconds i think im in the lead. Silly me
