What about if the person next to you, or just in front of you, is laggy and spins out while taking a corner and you are not sure if you hit him on his screen??? carry on imo

Read the 1st post in this thread, then you'll have your answer. If you're near someone and their car suddenly spins out unnaturally, then chances are you've hit them even though it didn't look like you hit them on your screen. If you're completely unsure, at least letting them catch back up is better than carrying on like you did nothing wrong.

If you're completely unsure, at least letting them catch back up is better than carrying on like you did nothing wrong. Indeed, that particular scenario is the entire reason this thread exist. I wanted people to stop using lag as an excuse CONSTANTLY. It was my opinion that you basically reset the playing field when lag causes the accident bc realistically you didnt earn the position you are just the benefactor of lag, hardly fair or impressive. Ultimately this will never happen though because so few people will ever see that post and even fewer agree with me based on my experience in game. It was a fools errand even if my heart was in the right place.
