After the trauma of last night's Mamba event, I can't bring myself to play GTA again today. Sorry Ganjalo

Sorry for leving, but I couldn't take it. I kept taking people out all the time because of the damn lag (in most cases at least), and all that waiting kept sending me back to last place. The constant pole fest didn't make me happier either, so I just decided to quit

This was one of the most fun events but honestly only because of the crashes okay listen -Gets 8.th in qualifying, personal best in any event, beating even some fast guys -In the following races, this happened: 1. get hit by someone 2. wait as everyone crashes into you while you either wait still or try to recover -Somehow get almost last in the actual races HOW DOES ONE GET FROM 8.TH TO ALMOST LAST Anyway it was only this fun cuz of the crashes tho, some of them were epic Also st0cking is it just me or do we always seem to battle atleast once in every sunday cup?

thx ganjalo, nice event like always,
but realising i should stay away from future events like this,
i am way too bad and just causing issues, or got bad luck with lampposts who others hit falling directly in front of me,
happened 8 times today ^^

The simple fact that you want to bail out because you think you create issues is a sign you should stick!

Sadly I couldn't be there, Ganjalo. I probably would have sucked at racing anyway after not playing GTA for 2 weeks

Intense racing across the whole field in yesterday's Vespucci Beach Cup!
Leaving with the gold medal and a $100,000 cash prize, #096 arken (Jester RC) proved he was worthy of his Grotti F1 Champion title. Certainly a disappointing race for #023 lewjen (smithyonetwelve) who, after a flawless run in his Jester RC (first in all trials), finishes in second. Last but not least, driver #990 fab. ICEMAN secures a bronze medal and climbs to the first step of the podium, tied with #017 @novesori who had a difficult race and finished 11th. The Jester RC was favored by most of the racers, chosen by 18 drivers out of 27, and rightly so it seems with the fastest lap time around the track, a 00:52.093 by driver #023, lewjen (smithyonetwelve) . The Massacro RC was not to be underestimated with a best lap time of 00:52.871 with #321 Madderose behind the wheel. Vespucci Beach Cup winnersHall of Fame-- Thank you guys! That was good fun. Of course I have quite a few things to tell but I'll try and keep it somewhat short. First and foremost, and I'm saying this every Cup, thank you guys for showing patience and respect, you are a great group of players. I apologise for the minor issues here and there, mostly the timing of the event and some rough edges on the track. I'm doing good progress and every Cup is smoother than the previous one, maybe one day I'll have a flash of genius and create the perfect track and manage to stick to my 2 hours schedule! Yesterday was a bit special of course because of the Press-On-Regardless Rally that got quite out of hands (organisation proved to be difficult). Thanks a lot to FriendlyBaron and redlaserbm for helping me out without me even asking for it, that was really helpful. I'm definitely looking for an assistant for the next Cup. Of course, it's better if you have boobs but hey, I'll take everything. :p Another point I'd like to address and that was raised by Daleks (@darkalex45) and tonysoprano1985 , concerning the... skill gap? we could say. The Cup is by definition a competitive event. Yes, we're not all tailored to fight against champions like arken, yes, there will be issues in the pack. But I don't see any event where there are no issues (don't make me link SATCC footage :p), and I think it's a very good thing that the Cup has a wide range of participants. I'm not the fastest guy myself (my best lap was a low 53, average), but I shared some cool racing moments with a lot of respect, and with a lot of different players. Everyone can have fun at their own level, I want the results as a proof, everyone is between the 52s and the 55s. We need everyone to have good races! Of course at the end of the day it's all about having fun so, do what you enjoy. :) I'm very open to discuss if you have things to share, be it here or in private message. Again thank you everyone, and see you next month! Tagging everyone

The event was good but compared with the previous one the track was very bad, it was too simple and didn't provide any overtaking chance apart from the very tight right corner at the lighttower where you had to be very confident. I also miss the bumps in the pits Chose a interesting track again with a wider choice of cars.

I think the track was fine and i had overtakes on pretty much every corner. Last corner was a bit tough to overtake because you didn't want to bump anyone, or yourself, into the sticky outside barrier. I think it's a sundaycup trademarks that the tracks are somewhat simple and beginner-friendly, i like it that way. I don't miss the bumps. at all. I do prefer a wider choice of cars as well though (and with no liveries).

The first 2 tracks were pretty difficult compared with yesterday. And no you couldnt overtake without hoping for a mistake, because there were no brake zones.
Madder tried a "overtake" on me in a fast corner which cost me a top5 position.
