Quick update post on the event: -Newer members to the crew that may have found themselves rejected from other events taking signups for being newbs are welcome to join this one, but I recommend picking up playtime any of the three regularly run playlists beforehand-- the welcome pl, the daily pl, or baron's pl--and taking up a few practice laps on the track beforehand so you know what you're doing. -On that topic, if you don't sign up for this event but just happen to wander in our Teamspeak channel about the time of the event start and we know you well enough we'll get you set up with a last-minute spot. -I've been updating the track here and there to try and make it easier for race control to spot crashes now that we have a race official on board for the event. -There's been a few minor edits to the thread here and there regarding minor rule changes, they're nothing crazy. Regarding the new wiggle-boosting craze, we're not sure if it's really possible on the Dominator, but we're banning it to be safe. So are any attempts to damage the vehicle before the race to gain an advantage. Us event hosts may take action against any further weirdo racing techniques as deemed necessary as they come up. -Team assignments for those who haven't found teams and the gridding procedure will be conducted about a week from now. Tagging those who still need teams: acerific , ZedZedboi2k , Countach , landon , Gaveroid , Ganjalo , fab. ICEMAN (Ganjalo and fab while you two are slated as reserves you two will still be assigned to teams when team assignments happen.) -Another reminder that the car is difficult to drive. Err on the side of caution the first few laps if you're diving into this with little to no practice--I suspect this will be the case for most of the field, so, uh, just do what you all did last time we did this and we'll be fine. |

Well damn that's a shame. I've updated sign-ups. We have enough participants in this for some decent battles atm but if you're on edge about joining hop on this already we could use the boost in field size.
