I voted yes but I have both the Dominator and Gauntlet in my stables. I have no issues with a switching of cars.

I'll be making a decision on what to do with the event on Monday. I still have not decided what to do but I am heavily leaning towards changing the car to the Gauntlet and running the event as scheduled on the 22nd. If this is the course of action I take, I do apologize in advance for any practice time consequently wasted as a result but if you all have better things to do like me then hopefully you didn't sink hours of practicing into this. The Gauntlet is a very affordable car, no one should have issues affording it, if you sunk cash into a 900R be ready to sell it off and sink $$$ into a Gauntlet instead. redlaserbm have you considered moving this event? Rockstar confirmed the 'can't put it into gta mode' glitch will be fixed and I don't think it will take them very long anymore. However, if you are still worried about the 'Can only give 1 car' thing, well.... Make sure atleast half of the participants have the car I guess?

Daleks (@darkalex45) I have considered moving the event back one week but I'm not counting on them resolving the bug that quickly. I'm focused right now on what's the best course of action I can take to try and ensure there's a 16+ car field on Saturday and what I have put forth seems to be that best course of action.

The clock just struck to indicate Monday in UTC so I am posting my decision: -We will use the 900R. If you currently cannot afford this car I urge you to do a heist, find a glitch, or sell a car or two to produce the $$$ necessary to buy this car. -The race will continue to run as scheduled but the distance is being further shortened to 55 laps. Please be on time for qualifying, I'm not gonna be messing around with the start time here, 6pm means 6pm, if you miss it we'll get you a spot on the grid in the back. -Participants must now reset their car in the pits in order for them to count. Baron's track is already setup to circumvent a bug which sometimes causes participants respawning on a secondary checkpoint to instead be placed on a primary one, no need to worry about this becoming an issue. (I am also aware of a bug where respawning is fucked up in general, but I'm gonna cross my fingers here and hope nothing terrible happens.) (Actually I need a little more time to think about this one. Poll is up concerning this issue.) It's not clear for me if the poll refers to respawning in the pit lane being mandatory if you need to respawn, or if respawning itself should be mandatory in the way that we would have 3 mandatory pit stops for instance.

erikd94 If respawning is mandatory then every participant must reset their car during their pits for them to count pindadoper Banshee makes for a poor racing product we won't be using it for this event

I wouldn't advice to respawn during the race at all, if possible. Currently there is a gub in the game that makes people respawn without a car. It is not limited to a specific race type and once you are without a car, it is gone for the race.

so we use the banshee 900r fully upgraded stock suspension and split six sport tires and a medium height wing? thats what it says or does someone has a better setup and wants to share his secret?
