I would like some clarification on which tires we are allowed to be use on which cars. Is this policy only for certain events or at all times?
The reason I'm asking is because after recently taking offroads off of all of my cars; I noticed a new rule on the championship thread that said super cars must have high end tires, sports cars must have sports tires, etc. Now some of my supers have high end, some have white walls, tuner, etc. The cost of doing this is getting high and have also noticed not everyone is making the change. If this tire policy is for racing at all times; how will this be enforced?

It's,just for individual events. You're free to use whatever tires you want unless the host of the event says specifically he wants you to use different tires

You can race with whatever tyres you want mate. Just make sure to check the rules set out by event organisers when signing up to take part. Some say no offroads, some say nothing i.e. use whatever you want. I really doubt that there will a a crew wide "you have to use these tyres at all times" rule because that would be silly and hard to enforce. It's up to the event organisers to make the rules and enforce them, so if they say no offroads then turn up without offroads, simple.

The thing I dont understand with the no off-road rule is that people will just move to the class with the next largest sidewall as broughy said in his video of why you should use off-roads.

It only matter if you lan to hit the kerbs a lot anyway, there are ways of not getting a slide off of the kerbs with regular tires but offroads make that less of a concern. Only if you go for the superspeed lines where the contact and angle of the car exiting the kerbs on all fours WILL make you slide if you lose a tiny bit of focus is where they become necessary for competitiveness.

tylerdurdin4 I know why you got a little confused. In general, in NoDo, are all tires allowed for random races and events. UNLESS the host of the event states in the OP that a certain tire is obligated. For random races and playlists you can choose what you want in NoDo You probably got confused with me, bc I don't use the off roads anymore, or other tires that should be better. I'm done with all these endless discussions whether it should be allowed or not. I'm going back to the old days and pick a tire that suits my car best. If I think that a tuner tire suits my feltzer best, than I'll put that one on, nobody else is going to say I'm not allowed to use that tire for random races. Only in events the host can decide what tires are allowed and which ones aren't. Same for curb boosting.. Btw Pundip it's sb crew that changed their policy about tires and said sports sport tires, super high end etc.
