And I'm just here thinking about the fact you had almost a month to decide on this and you post it a couple hours before the next race...
IMO posting this so late is totally unsportsmanlike behavior, as there's gonna be a driver missing without a realistic chance of a reserve coming in.

Just going to say 2 things here.

1) Why do you care anyways ? It has nothing to do with you and maybe you should keep your nose out of shit which isn't your business.

But I am pretty sure nearly every race we have done this season hasn't had all the sign ups turn up. I am basically saying it doesn't really matter as the event can't even get 28 racers anyways. And as for Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) he said he is only doing it to have fun and I contacted him first and he didn't seem bothered when we talked about.  

I care because I'm a driver in this event, and racing with fewer people is much worse; if you had posted earlier there could have been a reserve calling your spot.

Yes I know, we've had a lot of people not showing up even though they signed up, which is bad for Ender as he puts a shitload of work into hosting the now 7th season and half the drivers don't show up. 

But with you dropping out a couple hours before the race there's gonna be another driver missing.

What's the point of racing if we only have 12 drivers and everyone gets points? (Just a random number, but we've had races with 15 people this season already.) There would be no fight over "points or no points" which IMO is one of the key aspects of SAGTC.
Also the field will be spread out in no time, making this a hotlapping event, which I don't want.

As discussed during the race me & Bezerka3 are joining as a team we will run the Turismo R as Augury Insurance

It is very off-putting and discouraging to event hosts to have an event arranged and people sign up for that event and promise their presence only for that promise to be rescinded just hours before. Actually, it's off-putting to participants who do keep their promise as well when they show up and see half the people they're excited to race against aren't even there. In extreme cases you get scenarios like season 2 of my very own event where the event host is scrambling to find people to fill half of a vacated grid--and not everyone is willing to fill a seat last-minute!
