Well I know Broughy uses the default setting but was wondering what everyone else used. I myself use the furthest away version (Zoom X3) which shows a lot of the car. Was just wondering what everyone was using

I use the camera furthest away from the car and in the settings I have it set to high camera height.

In races I use zoom 3 for awareness of my surroundings, but in freeroam I use zoom 2 so I can see my sexy car up close.

Is there a way to lock-in Zoom X3? I've locked in the High-camera setting. I seem to start out at default, and am stuck trying to set it to X3 during a race and end up spastically cycling through the other views to get to X3, which slows me down, and/or makes me crash.

Third person, furthest away from the vehicle, high camera height.

For races where I really need to get my lines right I use the closest view, high camera. When driving alone (practising or trying to beat previous times) I sometimes use the hood cam. Since the camera placement for the hood cam is kinda weird I cant see the hood of some cars despite having a long front, which is more like a bumper cam to me and I dont like that.

furthest away and high angle.
im psting here coz i was going to ask broughy on youtube a while ago about the difference between games. i just never got round to it.
on gran turismo i use the view where you dont see the car at all, just the dials. ive tried other angles but cant get near to replicating times i get without seeing the car. But on GTA its the complete opposite. i NEED to see the car.
anyone else notice this weird shit?

high angle, default zoom, everything else is too distant for me to try, or intrusive
I wish the hood cam was centred like in previous games, I don't drive on the left in RL so it just discombobulates me when I try it, I don't seek getting used to it
edit: Same here, I need to see the car in GTA but in GT6 I go with strickly hud view bumber cam whatever, it's just better for me that way, unless I try drifting that is

Its because in gta there is an amount of sliding under braking.and acceleration that needs a view on the car to perform

Default. I am constantly changing angle though with turns and whatnot.
