It's great that as a crew we use plenty of different classes to race with rather than just Supers and Sports which seem to be the staple of random lobbies. It creates a healthy dose of variation that can only make us all better drivers on the game.
Classes that we rarely use however, are Bikes, Vans and Utility. These are interesting and challenging classes in their own right and are all but neglected, certainly in my experience on Xbox.
What are your views? Should we race these classes more? Is there a reason for their lack of use, bikes especially? Is the Vans class neglected because the best vehicle is a pick-up truck and not a true van?

I agree with vans, but utility is so slow that skill no longer becomes a factor and the races are extremely dull. I also agree with bikes but their handling is completely different to what people are used to here, and also there's the danger / falling off factor which I know a lot of people dislike. Personally I love them.

For that exact reason I dont even own any bikes vans or utility vehicles I know we as a crew never hardly use those so no point having those vehicles in my view

Yeah I really like to race bikes too I think they're most enjoyable on tracks like The North Loop as the danger of hitting obstacles like lamp posts isn't anything like what you'd experience on a city circuit. It's still pretty easy to avoid things since bikes are nowhere near as wide as cars and the other benefit is that other people's crashes rarely affect people following. That said, it's much harder to defend on bikes, so maybe thats a reason for their lack of use :/

I simply don't find racing bikes as fun as racing cars. And I think I'm not alone in this, and that's why we never race them. Vans and Utility are dead classes really, because they are so dominated by the Bison and the Sadler. That would make for some really uninteresting races and 2 garage slots taken up by two average cars.

Utility only works with GTA races (addressing earlier comment)
As for Bikes, I don't fancy them

Vans would be much better if the Bison wasn't in it and all the vans had performance modifications available to them imo. I don't own a van or utility vehicle for the reasons you mention.

This would of been my answer a few days ago however I have some new thoughts. I think we should try to compile a playlist of the top Motorbike tracks. Imo these tracks would be Akuma Master Race as they would have have little to no straights to wheelie on. I mean seriously if you can wheelie to victory then its not a proper track for bikes and its not even a challenge. The tracks should be at least reasonably hard to get around in a bike unlike say Cutting Coroners or Downtown Underground. I feel like the Akuma is the better bike for tracks made for bikes and the Bati is only better on tracks intended for cars.

I am bout to sell my sadler and bison because of this. I wanna get ride of my Sanchez as well and race a bifta on road with other NODOs. I actually like my bati though for occasional use in free roam even though I think the motorcycle class just as rarely used as well by this crew for racing.

I love my akuma its one of the best looking and well i fairly don't like the Bati cause is sounds like a weed wacker. In the Vans class the Bison is OP, its best to take it off, and drive a minivan like mine (And yes i'm proud of my Swag Van)

Well I know a lot of people that love their bikes and even use them around freeroam but I guess everyone has their own opinion. Personally I think that bikes are really really boring and that there isn't much to bike racing. I know GTA isn't excactly a driving simulator but the traction bikes are given is way way too arcady for me and also extremly rediculous which means you can take half the corners flat out. So what you end up with is doing wheelies 80% of the race and the rest will be about braking (braking points are really not that difficult, you just brake extremely late) and cornering (again bikes dont oversteer or understeer so that is relatively easy too) . I am not saying that bike racing is nothing and takes no skill at all but the combination of all those things I mentioned be4 will make me choose another class instead of bikes any day of the year. When it comes to Utility I don't have any problem racing with them (even though I don't have custom) but I think most people will use them for GTA races and they are best suited for that. Finally Vans are quite ok and I believe there can be some competitive racing with them (although I don't have custom again).
