That wasn't a hostile comment I was just asking, forgot a question mark.
I mean really, what is the point of this thread if we agree there is no solution?

Really all your comments come off as hostile in this thread. Basically you want everyone to shut the fuck up, stop posting and agree to disagree. Posting those comments are fueling the fire. If you wanted this thread to die the last thing you should do is post in it and bump it in the process. Do what you want but just some advice if you want the subject matter to be dropped do the exact opposite of what you are currently doing.

I suppose that's the problem with the internet not projec tone, I never had any hostility in my posts, I just can't understand the idea that people feel so polarised by a simple subject that when discussed produces no results.
If I am rocking the boat it's because I want in not tip people out.
So sorry if I offended anyone.

To some of them, it's new. Just take that into consideration. But I get where you're coming from.

Once again I apologise for my aggressive fact finding, I was the kid who'd get yelled at by teachers for asking too many questions, so sorry again if I did this here.

If I am rocking the boat it's because I want in not tip people out. So sorry if I offended anyone. Well its a bit like religion isnt it? On the one hand you have the people who dont care one way or the other what you do in a race (atheists) and on the other hand you have people who are intolerable and go out of their way to make people feel unwelcome on their tracks(religion). At least thats how it feels from the perspective of a "kerber"(pretty condescending if you ask me) when people "block poles". In reality most of the poles that are being blocked are only there to prevent the curb boosts and the poles that are being "blocked" pretty much never EVER get hit. Frankly CCGP''s pole blocks are almost 100% CrazyMan2626267's fault for showing broughy his lines. There are about 10 barriers in place to prevent him hotlapping the track that are essentially useless for a racing line but they had to be blocked because if they werent all those poles that never get hit would ruin the race. Its not just Broughys track and its not just crazymans lines. Its a plague on all platforms further segregated the racing circles into even smaller cliques. I think its great that you use what you like. As a matter of fact I commend you for continuing to use highend tires even though you know they suck. You held your ground there. I respect that, a lot of people didnt. However dont force your beliefs on others. I wouldnt force you to use offroad tires or curbs why should I be forced to not use them? Its these types of things that make me want to hoard all the information I collect through testing and not share it with a soul. The superboost(people wanted it patched), pulling back on the stick (people wanted it patched), offroad tires(people want it patched), curb boosts(shaggy posted it but people also want it patched) all of these things would of been better for the community to keep between myself, Twilicane, crazy and Sean. The sad thing is we wanted to help people get faster. Instead people treat us like a pariah for discovering how the damn game works. Im sorry we ever bothered trying honestly. The end result is some fuckboy youtubers stealing broughys content, a crew of people who demand patches instead of adapting and being treated like a plague for discovering tips and tricks. Seriously we have learned our lesson, keep our mouths shut and let everyone choke on our dust as we drive away into the distance. /rant

GTA is not realistic, but its drovong is very believable, I'd say. Things like curb boosting take away the immersion and have disputable effect on the quality of the game while making it unpredictable, as they do not derive from any real world situation. And that analogy of yours was VERY unfortunate.

Well stepping away from the 'Religion' analogy there... I admire the fact that people want to get faster using these methods, what makes it hard to gather is tha our crew doesn't smile over dropping poles on each other f=in races, now in a race plenty of accidents are forgivable, but in the search of speed we end up wrecklessly going against our own courtesy, then aren't we telling people that getting better at races means punishing people for racing against us?
I mean you can argue it's amatter of skill to find that area where you don;t hit poles or signs, but that's essentially the same thing as racing on the road. I know there are also stretches of road that don't have and of these dynamic obstacles and really that's find with me, I know I am in no danger, it's like the Old Touring cars David and Goliath effect of sraightaway monsters and tight corner compacts as far as I am concerned. However without moderation kerbs are kerbs and they will be used regardless of whether racers can see/know of them there or not.
Content creator is great for trying to limit that affect of umwamted obstacles which is admirable but nothing's perfect, I mean the driver is a part of this equation. I just wonder why racing for speed is considered the same thing are racing with people, and if it is why are they sharing the same mindset when we've clearly made a difference between them by recording times with people in races and without them in hotlapping?

Its an analogy not a direct fucking comparison. That doesn't make the poor choice of wording any better. I find it to be a perfect analogy. Unless you have something intelligent or inciteful to add to the conversation then you should stop posting. Coming in here and just saying my analogy is stupid is a pretty rude comment. For the record just because I drew an analogy through religion doesnt invalidate anything I said. Its just a taboo topic that people get their panties in a bunch over anytime someone brings it up. In no way do I want to discuss religion. I could of made the same analogy using race, sexuality or really any topic where one group is simply intolerant over the other. That was the fundamental point of my analogy and if you are too ignorant to see that and too dense to compose a halfway decently thought out response then just dont respond at all.

GTA V's driving isn't realistic. If it were realistic your supercar would be vaporized if you hit a curb. The main straight jump on LSGP would break all of your suspension not to mention bend the frame if you landed any way but flat. Also the Zentorno wouldn't bend it would shatter because the chassis is carbon fiber. If you hit a wall at 150 you would die instantly in a regular street car with no protective gear. A supercar couldn't go over 120 with off-road tires or else it would throw them apart. Bullet proof tires still pop after long burnouts. Tire smoke would hurt performance because it's literally paint and die so not rubber there for less traction. Sorry to shit on your parade but just the fact someone hates on game mechanics that help make you faster whether intended or not then claim it's not realistic remember what I just said. If you want realistic either do a driving simulator or start racing in a karting series or autocrossing. That is all I have to say to every single person that goes with the, "it's not realistic," debate. So please stop using the bull shit vail of, "it not realistic," and just come up with something that isn't that because you are literally playing GTA. It's NOT REALISTIC so STFU about realism because I could go on for far more than I care to. Have a nice day.
